This right here is why I think they need to just remove Timewalking and put the rewards onto some other rotating event.

From where I sit, Timewalking is not positioned as something thatās expected to be āchallengingā, but it was definitely satisfying being able to blast through them. What purpose does ilvl scaling in these things serve other than punitively slowing things down?
Why? Why is that the intention?
No donāt. We need some filler content that doesnāt require a buttload of thought processing and people with even more CC just to get through the slog of it. Theyāre fine as is, you donāt have to fix a clock that isnāt broken
Iām trying to figure out why the content is intentionally harder than normalā¦ itās as if some āelitist jerkā decided it would be fun to watch players squirm.
They really should be around the difficulty of an M+20 for what they give.

Itās all about the timewarped badges. Canāt let people rack them up so easily cause they donāt want players grabbing up the items that can be bought with them. Will not be surprised if they revert the changes in mid January.
Changing the way timewalking scales was a bad idea, they take longer and you jsut get weaker as you level because your level quickly outpaces your gear with how infrequently gear will drop. The closer we got to 80 the longer they took because everyone was doing so little damage, now youāre buffing health and damage? lol
Honestly, itās pretty clear why. In their mind, they offer ilvl that is in-between normal and heroic, so think the difficulty should be consistent with that.
Now. I donāt agree, but thatās what they are most-likely thinkingā¦ of course, they ignore the nuance that:
- TW isnāt āserious contentā. Itās a chore, Itās old content, and mostly valuable for quickly leveling alts.
- Transitional ilvl increases between normal and heroic are not needed in the slightest
- The dungeons have not been reworked mostly, and are often really broken.
The timewalking sets were more interesting, and gave people an excuse to go back and pursue older content. Iām sure itās been said plenty, but this change was quite poor as far as the gameās health.
These dungeons already took too long this is the exact opposite of what you should be doing.
Not a single person ran time walking and said to themselvesā¦ Dang this is going too fast. Out of touch, terrible change as usual. Not sure whatās going on with you devs this expansion, but getting closer and closer to unsubbing.
We donāt want timewalking dungeons to be challenging, we want to faceroll them. Stop making things tedious.
