This is the same as the Pre-Patch event, boss activities had too much HP and were HP sponges, then they changed it because they were too slow and boring, now we make the same mistake again, nobody wants long fights in TW, they have always been secondary activities to level up characters quickly, why would I want a challenge of spending 5 minutes hitting a sponge and having to repeat that same task with much more time with these changes?

Nobody has asked for this and I really hope it is reverted soon.

Players were having fun so we hotfixed it. We will get the bugs in like 3 weeks lol

This seems… stupid. I don’t know anyone who wanted Timewalking dungeons to take longer.

Is this just to pad engagement metrics to Papa Microsoft can be pleased with a spreadsheet number?

we detected players spamming TW dungeons and having a great time so we need to change it to make it so its harder and people wont want to do it

This is the part that always frustrates me too…

Bug or issue causing the game to be too easy or too fun, insta fixed

Big that prevented players from completing stuff… eh well we can get to they eventually

What you should be asking is: “Why do they want so much negative attention!?

The only way to end their tyranny is to unsubscribe and not comment about their negative choices. They’re accruing some really bad karma. I wouldn’t want to be them.

I was doing timewalking dungeons ALL WEEK and honestly they been a BLAST. Why you gotta ruin everythin’?

And scale up the loot. THEY NEED TO DROP 580’s the SAME as Heroic dungeons. I don’t bother with them at all unless I am leveling and after XP, 554 gear is 100% useless even to a brand new 80

There’s a few post-11.0 bugs that LITERALLY wiped out years of player progress/investment, for example the guild banks bug… but their attention is apparently focused on making pointless “fluff” changes that no one asked for (buffing TW dungeons) :roll_eyes: :man_facepalming:

That ain’t it chief. Let’s not nerf every fun activity that players find.

While I know it isn’t you who makes the change, surely the devs remember that they had the same blowback when they made mobs scale up based on gear in endgame raids. This shouldn’t be a thing that happens, flat-out. Just give them a set level and be done with it.

Sad. Who is it over at Blizzard that has such contempt for the Timewalking community? First you gutted our emergent gameplay (we had spreadsheets, a busy Discord and hundreds of players) dedicated to minmax, and now this???

Can we at least scale up the rewards a bit??
