Honestly had not noticed. The only power scaling issue that seems to plague others is the Headless Horseman fight. Apparently, folks are gettin wrecked.
probably dumb question but does vanilla time walking last the entire event or is it like this week only and goes away tomorrow?
Going by the calendar, Timewalkingâs active for the duration of the anniversary. Itâll either be whateverâs regularly scheduled for a given week, or itâll be classic on weeks where there normally wouldnât be Timewalking active.
Ugh challenge for what below heroic gear lol
I donât think leveling dungeons and TW dungeons are salvageable into actual enjoyable pieces of content.
I tried one classic TW dungeon (got ZF) and it was hard to stomach how absurdly boring, toothless, and awful it was.
Not for me.
Ah so if I miss out by avoiding the first week Iâll still be able to pick up after reset then?
Blizzard, this is not what players look for in Timewalking content. Walk this change back, no one is doing 20 year old dungeons for fun, theyâre doing it to gear alts to play your actual fun, engaging content.
Shouldâve not made this Chromie event. The raid is overtuned and has no mastery gear. I got a worthless trinket from there that gives me 50k mana over 10 seconds. It has a 5 minute cooldown. I repeat a 5 min cooldown for 50k mana. Thatâs like one extra riptide.
But this is what you guys choose to fix
Well, reset starts a new week, so I imagine itâd be just like any other weekly reset regarding events changing and stuff.
Somewhere out there is an crazy alternative universe where timewalking and older content can also be fun and engaging content.
Retail ainât it though.
These dungeons alr take forever why make it worse.
Classic timewalking is awfulllllll
I actually find this really ironic.
Last night I ran timewalking dungeons on my new DK that I decided to make.
And I spent the whole time thinking about how much fun I was having, and how it felt nice to re-visit the classic dungeons and things were dying relatively quickly and we were making nice progress.
Well, I guess this was overdue.
People who do timewalking donât want an âengaging challengeâ
Thatâs why we have M+/Raiding/Delves
I just wanted to chill and enjoy the old school dungeons and relax.
edit: spelling
while keeping to the principle that better gear makes you more powerful
Unless youâre sticking to the principle that lvl 10âs can oneshot everything and gear is 100% useless for every level under 74~.
You not gonna fix that?.
'coz⌠you know⌠principles, those things you threw away when you ârevampedâ BFA.
Horrible change. Time to revert.
I feel bad for you community managers having to constantly spin dog poop into magical stories of benefits for players.
No one wants this. Want to see the tank shortage get worse? This is how you make the tank shortage worse.
to provide a fairer, engaging challenge for all players
come on blizz, you know perfectly well most people here do not want that
Yeah thatâs pretty bad
I really wonder if anyone who works on this game actually plays it. TW is supposed to be fast, fun, and a good way to level alts. You guys already killed our legendary items in TW. You did so well with DF and now itâs back to same old blizz with braindead ideas the make the game a more tedious slog. Sad that Remix was a million times better than the âanniversaryâ. If I were a developer, Iâd be embarrassed to put out this event and then find ways to make it even more tedious.
it was NOT fun to confuse bosses with trash mobs.
