Timewalking Dungeons Updated - October 28

Ran it last night after the changes and it feels no different. Mid level 70s and two 610ish 80s in a group. We roflstomp chain pulled 4 dungeons in under 40 minutes.

It’s still insanely easy.

You should see my circle of healing aoe heal you visually cannot even see anyones health raising its that low and my “miracle” heal serenity is an absolute joke aswell

I translated the post in simple words.

Blizzard: “The 20th anniversary is a success, no one is having fun! Unfortunately our metrics suggest that some players are having a good time with tw and we can’t have that.”

BM hunters need a bug fixed with black arrow, a shot that goes to a random mob in any direction.

the reward is not in line with the “challenge”
its not worth doing at max level unless you want to do the weekly

There is no challenge. Timewalking is still faceroll after these changes.

No one asked for this. Timewalking dungeons arent played for an engaging challenge its 99% to have fun ripping through old content while leveling. This is a huge L. Time to revert, keep speaking up people.

which is why i used quotes.

Now this is flat out untrue.

I have seen a lot of posts complaining that Timewalking is too easy. That it would be more fun if it was more challenging.

People have been asking for this.

I don’t see the big deal. Blizzard meant for it to be harder, it came out stupid easy, so they are trying to bring it closer to their initial goal.

Lets be honest TW dungeons was used mostly for quick alts leveling, why the change?

What happened between DF (one the the best selling and loved exp) for those massive tone deaf changes in TWW ? Is it Metzen? Microsoft acquisition? Like why change something that was working as intended.

I would have already leveled 3 alts this exp but cause of those changes im not levelint my alts

Isn’t the point of an RPG to become more powerful as you get better gear? Why is WoW the opposite?

I thought the HP was good as it was. I only did TW on one alt so far and really enjoyed it. Didn’t have any wipes, but also was not a cake walk.

I honestly have no idea what changed, because it feels like the same roflstomp it did before the changes.

They did nerf the xp from 70-80 a couple hotfixes ago. Its better to run normal dungeons now, which is a weird change

Spreadsheet gaming took over. Progression only matters at endgame now where you’re involved in the rat race

Because the current devs aren’t passionate about making one

Yeah? Honesta goodness yeah?

Funny.

Just looted this in my last TW dungeon this morning.

Oh what a fun run that was … not. So powerful.

That’s not how it’s playing out in my experience right now.

Anything that makes leveling takes longer is a cash grab to wow shop boost sales.

The same that any clear change to remove gold making ability is a boost to their token sales.

No dev that focuses on fun will survive.

Every change must produce a real and measurably ROI in real money. Its that simple.

If you feel like they are slowly tuning the skinner box for maximum money extraction, its because they are.

Heres what the end looks like, everyone will pay their subscriptions + 2 wow tokens a month + 1 boost every 2.

Untill some dev genius comes out with a “premium subscription” option that includes those items and more monthly.

I’d spend money on this game if I tought it was fair to spend.

This is one reason I didnt bought the mounts and would be the reason to unsub (if I wasn’t unsub already).

Keep the good work. Things like this will stop me from playing and take some year hiatus as I just did.

Who in this thread has proved your point that we want it more tedious? I have enough stuff to do TW has always been a joke and should remain a joke its leveling/chore content at best

Subscription changes. DF was low base, they had to make the game good to appeal ppl.

Now that’s a lot ppl playing, why make the game good? They trying to milk us.
