Thing is it doesn’t change for them
I’m glad I finished leveling an alt through timewalking like an hour before these updates came out.
They killed Timewalking, and now they’re buffing it more.
I couldn’t even make this stuff up.
What…are they thinking…
Blizzard seems mad that people who didn’t buy TWW are melting timewalking dungeons using DF LFR gear. lol
So no fix for heroic BRD.
But you made the TW dungeons more tedious than they already were. Cool.
Ahhhhh, that’s why!!!
I was doing TW with my LEVEL 80, 596 Monk set to BrM, and it was an absolutely MISERABLE experience. I couldn’t hold aggro for the life of me- at one point, a damn lvl 12 Arcane Mage was working me.
I know I am not that bad at tanking, because I subsequently got on my Prot Pally, BDK, and VDH, and absolutely crushed it.
I took this very personal.
The hell is going on with Brewmaster, Blizzrlard?! This was a typo, but naw, we keeping that as is.
How bout you focus on fixing what’s actually broke, before breaking what’s actually fixed…
Also also, my friend here’s name is Benaffilock. We need to acknowledge this person.
Any thoughts on adding multiple tiers of Timewalking dungeon difficulty ques?
Personally I’m not a fan of all the scaling jankyness in these.
I’d like for at least some M0 level difficulty timewalking dungeons with all level 80 players. I don’t want my gear scaled up or down either. It makes the game feel inconsistent.
you cant honestly think it wasnt broken. they still go plenty fast without a lvl 10 windwalker flying through it like a d3 greater rift.
God i already miss the old timewalking where my heals where powerfull. Now they are a complete joke. Im done with leveling in there and that is such a shame. I liked them
Previously, everyone was scaled down to the same level with gear scaled down to the same ilevel, so whatever role you played, they were easy in pretty much any gear and the power difference between everyone in the party was mostly nonexistent (baring those with TW sets such as old overpowered legendary items).
Now they use the backasswards Chromie scaling which lowers player power as players level up, as well as comes with the expectation players maintain a certain gear ilevel at every player level.
So if you are in the late 70s but wearing 450 gear instead of 550 gear, the game now assumes you are significantly undergeared and further trashes your power.
And given how terrible gear drops are in this content while leveling, good luck keeping anywhere near the game’s expected power level while leveling.
Gear-based mob scaling is easily one of the worst aspects of this game.
“What’s that? Your character got stronger? Well, I guess we’d better scale everything up to compensate. Have fun not being stronger!”
What if you use a timewalking set (old raid gear/ sets) is there a bottom end to the scaling? Incoming cheese with ilvl 30 greens?
Your game felt broken in a fun way, now you made it feel broken in a bad way, why is my spirit link totem killing half my group when i pop in it timewalking BRD?
If it’s anything like that wonky delve scaling centered around specs and player count, I would not be surprised if there is a way to trick the scaling system.
I don’t have the in-depth knowledge to run those tests, but I’m sure someone out there is able to break this scaling in half with the right combination of factors.
It basically turns you into paper doing that (currently).
Seems like they only want people playing the game if they are playing it the way BLIZZARD wants them too…typical out of touch control freaks, no one is doing TWing because they are looking for a fun new challenge…
Things are about to get interesting around here.
Buff the rewards if you’re buffing timewalking.
darn, thanks for the testing, a true hero.
It was entirely by mistake. I usually use a timewalking set which i equipped out of habit for this weeks TW.
got melted and had to return to normal gear
