No, the 5 boss quest was always normal raid. The heroic chest is for Illidan, as it always ways.

TW is so easy it really doesn’t need better gear dropping. The dungeons take 5 minutes and are done at a dead run, barely even stopping for boss fights.
Should be upgradable though, N dungeon stuff should too.
TW Black Temple is easier than TW dungeons, and drops 597 gear. You were saying?
You do realize time walking has been more for gearing new characters not upgrading existing gear right? By all means though, expect free hand outs because you’re lazy.

Timewalking dungeons are easier than normal TWW dungeons and give gear on the same level.
Did this once in DF between patch 1.5 and 2. Timewalking suddenly gives a pathetically low reward.

Timewalking dungeons fill the vault the same as heroic dungeons so it should drop gear that is equivalent to heroic dungeons imo. Very weird that dungeons would drop 554 but the easy timewalking raid drops champion level raid gear.

This could help with the gap between the normal dungeon and heroic as long as people could upgrade the gear.

TW BT is also undertuned, but it’s dropping normal raid level gear and has a heroic raid item at the end, so why shouldn’t TW dungeons drop at least gear useful for heroic dungeons?
Yeah, I just came from a BT temple run, which was on par with a MOG run in terms of difficulty - HOWEVER - there are so many raid bosses that you are bound to get something (I got 3 pieces) and it’s 597 which is currently VERY good (and upgradable), plus the quest then gives a 613 item.
So yeah … over 80, do Black Temple.
Ahhhhh i hear ya but lets be honest, you get a good piece out of the cache for really nothing other than showing up.

TW dungeons have always been undertuned. Reward seems about right.
554 is actually too low. They really should be 580 (4/8). It’s an alternate gear route to Heroics.
I’ve been trying to point out this problem since Season 1 started but still nothing has been done yet. I’m very surprised they’re still allowing this issue to exist.
I was actually planning on doing a lot of timewalking, but only the quest gives like 590ish gear? Greens that flood the auction house are more worth than running these dungeons for upgrades lol. I think somewhere around 570 would be nice
Do only the raid for 597 1/8 champion track drops, plus hero track item in the quest for killing Illidan!
