It wasn’t misinterpreted you are saying the soft enrage timer is different from a strict timer which is simply playing with words. The end results are the same if not worse and they are in direct opposition with what was advertised before the preorder. You’re simply wrong and can’t acknowledge it which is what makes arguing with you like arguing with a 15 year old.

They already have a limit of deaths per floor. They started out with that concept and it was liked. Because it did not set a pace.

Oh they don’t care one bit about the post count. There are topics with 100x more posts that were ignored. This is nothing but a small blip that in a week will go away. Like all the other knee jerk tantrums thrown weekly on these forums

He is saying to set the torments on deaths. Not that I don’t like the idea but Blizzards torments are to address people waiting for cooldowns.

It definitely was misinterpreted. You said that my statement was that a soft enrage does not put you on a timer. I never said this. I said that it was a soft enrage timer rather than a strict timer. There are no play on words there. There’s nothing on my end that would elude to me morphing what was said. You want to believe that I’m being malicious and “sly” in my words when I’ve been straight forward this whole time. Then claimed that I was an uneducated child.
If arguing with a 15 year old is them saying something pretty clear and concise and an adult trying to sit there and decipher the hidden meaning in their words then sure, you’ve nailed it.

I seen 100’s of idea’s how to get around people waiting for cooldowns.
One was to set the cooldown to only happen when in combat and hitting something. this way if you stopped and looked around your cooldowns would stop too.
Thus no one could do nothing and wait on cooldowns.
Yea I agree there are much better solutions to stop people waiting for cooldowns than timers.

now it will make us hit that number even faster because we will make pulls to fast or try to many mobs all in the name of speed, faster faster go go go go. Completely takes all fun out of it. Why I never step foot in mythic+.

What’s going on in the world is irrelevant in a discussion about an upcoming system in a video game. Not really a good angle and bad for moving a discussion forward. You’ve been stuck in this whole thing about trying to prove to me that I’m moving the goal post and dodging when I’ve been in the same place the whole time. I’m not Goku with Ultra Instincts dude.
Like I said, I’m sticking with my stance in all this. And just because people want to come and act like it means another thing isn’t going to make me back down in any way shape or form.

Based on some of the responses, It seems that some of the opposition to Torghast timers, is stemming from people who don’t actually play much current content in WoW.
How can you complain about future content when you don’t even know much about current content?
The anger and strife definitely matters in the world, regardless of where its generated, even from a video game forum.

How couldn’t they? Someone could play their first day of WoW on SL release and still have perfectly valid distaste for a mechanic in SL.
You think people getting angry, upset, and/or sad here right now doesn’t affect them outside of the game/forums?
It will be anyway. Things will now not only be nerfed because of mythic+ races, pvp nightmares, Torghast will be added to it and make it even worse.
Still sounds better with a timer.
