What? If you die too many times you’re taking too long? I mean that can be the case for some but not all. When you get to a point where the mobs can 1 shot you and that happens early then I wouldn’t say that.
If mobs can one shot you then that’s a good sign you’re done.
But in a real golf game, you still can’t stand there all day, you’ll get disqualified.
You don’t get rewarded with a higher level key for not timing the key. If you want to do a higher level key without timing keys yourself, you’re gonna have to have a friend put in the legwork to get you that key, or find a completion group to get yourself that key.
Big lies there bud
The simple solution is always the best. In this case, let people have for 4-5 pulls until the mob pack eventually become too OP and kill them.
Then they will learn that it’s not worth the pain. And figure out when to stop.
No additions needed, only time for the go go monkeys to learn.
What is this returning to exactly? WoW never had this kind of experience.
If you were in a tournament sure. There’s no competition in Torghast.
I disagree. Personally have experienced this in another roguelike game RoR2. It becomes a blast when you’re a killing machine and the mobs are not any less threatening. It becomes a heart pumping experience bobbing and weaving the enemies attacks to try and perfect your run and not possibly die to a 1 shot.
RIP fun solo content. Blizzard always seems to find a way to ruin content with timers or time-gating.
Blizzard, please keep the Red Bull 100mph gameplay in M+'s. I have no problem with having to speed through those as fast as possible, but please give us fun content that we don’t have to try to rush through.
If someone really needs to feel competitive then they can just make a leaderboard for each floor.
If you want to only take portions of what I’ve said and misinterpret them then it’s no skin off my nose. It’s not my fault you can’t see the difference between an “enrage timer” and a “soft enrage timer”.
I agree. Because I didn’t say “enrage timer”. I said soft enrage timer. Meaning that the run gets harder the longer you take to clear it.
Should look at what I said. Nowhere did I state “enrage timer”.
You’re playing word games, and causing anger and strife in the community, at a time when we really can use some good news and happiness instead. Stop it.
Not particularly interested in an idea from someone who talks about go go monkeys.
Cheers.
Welp, there goes that for me.
There are a lot of different suggestions on how to best handle it, which I think is a better use of energy than just dismissing people who don’t want gogo rush content enforced. That already exists in general and has its own rewards.
Maybe a limit on charges, or maybe cooldowns only progress x amount without entering combat, etc. Could even disable lust and tune around that so it isn’t “required” for comps.
I don’t think they will change it either, but I am not happy with the change. Limited access and weekly rewards is just another M+ iteration, wasn’t what got people amped up for it. It was presented completely different. Now it’s just another slice of the same pie.
like idk, turning off blood lust or making it so you can only blood lust once a floor?
Yep. You’re highlighting the portion that you feel helps your argument and ignoring the “soft” in front of that enrage timer you keep putting in bold. I guess you’re only capable of reading what you want to instead of what’s said. Thanks for proving my point for me
go go monekys, Timerhaulic’s, Zoomers.
Basically people who don’t think anything can be hard without a timer and thus want to plaster them everywhere even places where it’s NOT welcome.
Timers reward good players, good players are happy with good-player rewards. If you’re against it then you must not be good.
Well this just killed the hype I had for Torghast.
This is looking less like a dungeon crawl and more like a Metroid speed run.
