Timers added to Torghast

For Legendary rewards. You can go in there for cosmetic rewards anytime you want.

So the part that would be fun to play has been ruined? That doesn’t help your side.

And I haven’t heard anyone say where it would help.

Your bonkers. It’s all over the thread. WE DON’T LIKE IT. IT’S STRESSFUL. That’s all the justification you need.

If that’s the case why have a timer? The real advantage will be getting good anima power rolls.

This was pitched as the first non-timed infinitely scaling mode to give players who wanted that option. We had islands, visions, and m+ with timers it’s time to try something different. Torghast had been super well received before this point. Timers make players feel guilty and anxious doing anything that isn’t gogogo so that is the issue.

And there it is. You find it stressful. Okay, do you hate all the other timers that exist in the game? Because they’re everywhere.

two modes timer or no timer but you get equal items. its just for the simple reason is that you want to be timed.

Timer is going to hinder my experience. I don’t like rushing, I don’t want to GO GO GO mentality which this lawyer developer is obsessed with in implementing on any new feature of this game.

Well now. Fun is subjective. What Blizzard said was that Torghast wouldn’t have a timer, and for all we know, Blizzard could have referenced just the early prototypes of Torghast where floors beyond 10 didn’t have debuffs yet. A lot of “What ifs” is possible here, and I’m not going to go there for obvious reasons.

What you might find not fun, the debuffs in this case, can be fun for others.

Since BC…

Great. You don’t have to. There are rest areas.

^ Also this. Thing is a timer has existed in the game for a long time.

lol YES that’s why people were looking forward to this because they have hated all this timer content.

Which has existed for a very long time in WoW. Not sure why not it’s all of a sudden a problem.

People are tired by it now.

Sooo you’re tired of literally most of the content in the game?

In WoW’s growing and peak years timers weren’t used besides specific boss encounters or extra bonus rewards. Everything in BFA had it and people are tired of it. They should at least give the option for both.

Then give Torghast a leaderboard, like D3’s greater rifts. That way all the try hards can rush it, while the rest of us can play however we want. Fixed it. Adding timers just pushes people like me who were coming back specifically for something actually fun into staying away again. No skin off my back, but I’d like WoW to be enjoyable again at some point.

Yep, I mostly RP level now. RP leveling is the only thing that I like doing in this game.

I found Torghast interesting only because I thought it will not have timers and would be a great solo experience.

Specific boss encounters? There were in a lot more than just specific boss encounters. The only time where specific could be applied would be dungeons. Which even then they had that sprint or push mentality. Mostly in Wrath when the game reached its peak and everyone loved it is what comes to mind.

That’s good, so isn’t a content to enjoy, it is just a requirement to forge the legendary, isn’t something to play with friends, and have fun. It’s exactly as we have today on HV, if you have the 12-15 cloak you are done. That’s weird since the tower so far it’s the only thing SL has.

I’ve never said I wouldn’t love to do raid with my friends, did I?
“You’re not being forced to do it”. Actually you are, just look to BFA, if you wanna get a PVE essence you must play PVP, or if you don’t like timed content you must do HV.
