Yes, there is no “you have 10 minutes to do this then you are booted out”. Each successive floor after 10 becomes harder due to a stacking debuff, but by no means is it ticking down how long you’re allowed to stay before being forcibly kicked out.
Nah I think people are over exaggerating the timer. When you’re essentially running around 1 shotting everything it shouldn’t even take you more than a minute per pull. And if you need to take a breather each floor will have a rest point. Personally see the Tower like playing Risk of Rain 2. If you don’t like it, don’t do it.
And how is this a problem? Call me confused as I dont run raids or mythics but do enjoy things like visions for the challenge but… Why does blizz give a if we take 10 hrs per floor waiting for cool downs…Is this not a viable option ( that is if you don’t die from boredom in between pulls ? Someone plz explain it to me as , serious question.
It’s RoR without the end boss activation platform. There’s even time limited extra objectives, like the timed chest in the snow map that you can’t open after having been in the game for more than I believe it is 7 minutes?
Soft Timers are still types of timers. The point right above no timed mode also says “encouraging exploration”, stacking debuffs that increase over time doesn’t encourage exploration. The point right below no timed mode says “…but maybe take your time to hunt for anima power”, and this change goes against that.
Did you read the OP wowhead post? The floor you’re on becomes harder every 60 seconds you stay on it.
I’d believe that any resource or mat can be gathered on the first 9 floors. Anything beyond is not needed at all to progress the game. The content is on the first 9 floors.
They are not giving you the right information. The debuffs increase over time not only per floor. For instance some debuffs stack every 60 seconds so it’s on a timer. This page has all the new debuffs, note that the negative effect stacks over time.
This is just turning out to be another case of overdesign. They took a softball level concept that was just supposed to be for fun and turned it into an unnecessary balancing act.
Yeah, I had zero intentions of buying SL, until I heard about Torghast a few days ago, which made me excited for WoW for the first time in years, and now I’m back to not wanting it again. I’m just glad I only spent gold on my sub this month.
