In your mind you made a compliment to the mage class.
In my mind you automatically dismissed my opinion and over looked it.
You remind me of a NARC Mom. You fail to see the point of why I am talking to begin with and instead attempt to silence me.

Iām not going to say sorry because you saw something that wasnāt there.
Id be more concerned that catering to casuals makes content so easy and boring that people quit.
I for one appreciate challenging and competitive content.
Oh okay. I guess I didnāt realize it was pitched to not be timed. I always thought there was going to be some urgency to it.
So people thought this was going to be a zone to explore?
Stop it LOLā¦ā¦.you canāt get any more text book with your answers. Seriously Iām gonna wet myself laughing soon.
They added in rested areas that you can relax at though.
What does a rested area have to do with my pacing as an individual healer or not so great DPS group? The issue is the timer restriction. Not if you can stop and take a break.
I said āMage DPS isnāt slowā. You are seeing something else, that is up to you.
youāre not entitled to tell me what to do with my money (or ez gold)
I didnāt tell you what to do, but judging by your replies you seem to be rather confused about what people mean by what they say in general.
At the end of the dayā¦ need to wait and see how the timer gets tuned. Itās possible it might get tighter on higher floors. Might be extremely forgiving overall. Nobody knows because the tuning and testing on it is wildly far from done.
Everytime someone says wait and see it ends up not getting fixed. People who are testing it now say they donāt like it. It is forgiving in many cases but itās the pacing that gets ruined. You are mistaking the problem as a balance issue when itās about the feeling of the content. People donāt want more gogogo content, they already have m+ for this. There is no infinitely scaling 1-5 content without timers in the game yet and so many people were looking forward to this.
Cause you can stop and change talents, relax, and get your bearings on a new floor. The timer is there to add a layer of challenge which helps make things more interesting. They could also just make everything respawn though I guess like in Dark Souls if you die, so not a timer and probably another way to promote not messing up.
But anyway, imo there needs to be something that adds a layer of challenge to it so Iām all for a soft timer.
Oh okay. I guess I didnāt realize it was pitched to not be timed. I always thought there was going to be some urgency to it.

Yep, in the āVariable Layoutā panel on this page they say built for exploration and not timed.
Inside the Maw is the Tower named Torghast. It's a scalable dungeon from 1-5 players. When you ascend, both you and your enemies grow in power. The lower levels are a standard dungeon crawl, but as you ascend you start seeing traps.
There is no infinitely scaling 1-5 content without timers in the game yet and so many people were looking forward to this.
And youāre not looking forward to it because of an untuned soft timer? The intent seems to be to prevent people from spending ages on a single floor. Thereās not gonna be that much for you to do on an individual floor. If you just want to mull about looking pretty, thereās plenty of other content for that. And hey, the first 10 floors or so will let you do that too.
but judging by your replies you seem to be rather confused about what people mean by what they say in general.
I think you are the one whoās confused. You pick me on a specific meaning and I did re take you on it.
You donāt like it, thatās for you to deal with it. The reasons Iām here are none of your concerns.
Gameās health in future is what matter most. Accessibility need to be a thing present.
Blizzard getting you hyped and then changing it at the last second?!
Color me shocked
You responded to 1/40th of my post and glazed past all the rest. You know where the POINT was. So technically you made it all about the side issue rather then responding to the actual focus and addressing that.
This is a text book response.
You pick me on a specific meaning
I did what now?
and I did re take you on it.
English, do you speak it?
You donāt like it, thatās for you to deal with it. The reasons Iām here are none of your concerns.
ā¦ what are you even going on about.
Gameās health in future is what matter most. Accessibility need to be a thing present.
Accessibility at the cost of meaning is not good accessibility.
The intent seems to be to prevent people from spending ages on a single floor.
letās say for example I can only get 5 cloth for my legendary per floor, why should it matter that I run thru it as fast as I can or take 10 days to get it done? I still only get 5 cloth.
Youāre a waste of time more then the previous person I dealt with. Done with you.
I think the bottom line is this. They announced it with no timers and people were VERY enthusiastically surprised, excited, etc.
Now they are talking timers. Some people will still love it regardless, but many of us will not. If hero is the problem address it specifically. Just slapping a timer which many of us do not want on is like using a chainsaw where a scalpel is required.
You responded to 1/40th of my post and glazed past all the rest.
Okay are you honestly thinking Iām only replying to the quoted text? Iām replying to the entire thing youāve said, but Iām quoting the one phrase Iām continuing the discussion from. I understand your point that you want torghast to be you vs the mobs, and that you said that your mage dps is going to hold you back during torghast.
Considering what you said, I simply disagree that mages are slow on DPS. Nothing more to it.
I didnāt comment on āYou vs the mobsā because I donāt disagree, nor agree with it. That is your opinion, but in case I need to make everything black or white, I do agree that fighting mobs should be the core of the content. WHich it kind of already is, but my point is the only thing I was commenting on, was mage speed. Not your āperceptionā of speed, or anything else. Just the class itself.
