Yesterday, before this was public knowledge, I submitted two bug reports as I experienced issues with the weekly chest for timewalking that was supposed to award me with a 493 season 4 item but instead awarded me with a season 3 454 item. I also experienced an issue where my character could not roll on upgrade items in LFR as it stated the item was not for me even thought it was a rather large item increase(tier token). From what I can tell this seems to be caused by the fact that this character was wearing season 2 tier peices that are the same tier as season 4 tier pieces even though the pieces are clearly a large ilvl increase. Is there anything that can be done considering I was not able to get anything that i was supposed to from the 493 chest and was not able to roll on any upgrade items from LFR that i am now locked out of for 3 weeks. In game tickets have done nothing and have pushed me to here.
Blah for some reason it posted it as my Druid and I didnt notice because my druid and hunter look nearly the same in the mini picture. This is the character that was affected by it.
I also received a 441 time-warped curio from my TW cache yesterday. Put a ticket in to blizz ab out and was told they can do nothing and to report it as a bug here. Sad panda I am.
I received a 470 trinket. I put in a support ticket and after receiving multiple automated responses to check wowhead for information, I got a response from a GM who basically said, yea, this stinks, here are some more links. I checked one of them and saw that Blizzard posted “We are currently investigating multiple reports concerning the item level of the rewards. We are unable to offer a workaround or a solution.” It would be really poo if they just said: sorry, we messed up, you get nothing for your time.
i have been holding off turning in the quest until this is fixed. will there be a way to see when its fixed?
Someone posted in general chat that Bliz has said we won’t be compensated.

I remember a time when GM’a could fix these issues. What a sad decline in customer service.
Last time it happened there was no compensation, so precedent is there unfortunately.

Slow fix so tons of people being screwed out of loot and they likely won’t compensate for their screw up.

I’ve cancelled my subscription after 19 years because of this. This is absolutely unacceptable for a subscription service.
If I released something into production that wasn’t ready, I’d be fired.

On a second character after getting screwed on the first one AFTER the hot patch I just got the 441 curio that’s good for absolutely nothing. I can’t even sell it for gold.
Why not? The gear being rewarded is probably a bit lower than what people are currently wearing. Who cares if they get a 2nd piece of gear, the first one is vendor trash for 95% of the folks anyway. 50g for minor inconvenience seems fair. Should be thanking us for being the ones to identify their bug anyway.
Do it. Unsubscribe over a piece of gear like a rational person.
i did the time walking weekly, opened my box and received a 460 ilvl season 3 piece of gear not a season 4 piece… before the “hotfix”. sameeee

Just finished TW ~1PM EST and got a 441 flame-warped curio when opening the cache - had no idea it was bugged since no one in my guild seemed to have an issue with it.

You realize that it’s not “over a piece of gear.” We don’t pay them for that. We pay them for a working product and customer service when things go wrong. They seem to be incapable of providing the former and refuse to provide the latter.
Sadly got 405 ilvl of Raz bow, was told to post here by a GM. Hopefully they can get a fix in for it. Don’t mind when it happens, but please put out a fix. Kind of puts a pause on wanting to do any form of timewalking until it is fixed.
