Time walking exploiters

You’re taking it far, far too personally. No one is doing this specifically to piss you off.

Low levels are powerful because making them too weak would be far worse. Attempting to fix what isn’t broken here WOULD actually break something. So stop acting like they are out to ruin your experience, in timewalking of all hardcore ultra important content.

If you insist on being the main character all the time why are you even doing group content.

Then make a group and go slog through it. Nothing is stopping you.

Did you literally miss MoP Remix? Your whole rant was a pointless exercise in uselessness as all it does is cry about how you want to play but refuse to take any responsibility for your playing. You want to force everyone to play the way you want because you don’t want to bother finding people who want to play the way you want. Maybe the issue isn’t other people? Maybe the issue is that people just can’t stand being around someone who simply forces their opinions on everyone. On the bright side, I made a level 11 and locked it and started to twink it and helped like 10 people get to level 80. They were all very happy to have the help and go through the dungeons quickly. As I said… a handful of people want everyone else to suffer. If you want that play style you can have it. But Blizzard shouldn’t bend over backwards to accommodate your fragile egos.

Source confirming it is working as intended with a level 10 character twinked 1 shotting everything??

How long has the event been going on? Why do you think they changed the scaling to be the same as MoP Remix if this wasn’t intended. Why do you people keep acting like TW dungeons are the pinnacle of gameplay?

The source is:
IT WORKS THAT WAY RIGHT NOW.
And it has for many, many, MANY years.

What possible evidence is out there to suggest this is unintended?

What is considered “excessive”? I may consider someone leaving say 10 keys in a week excessive, but someone else may not.

This you bro? Kind of funny how you are arguing two different sides of the same exact thing. So it is fine if someone leaves queues and ruins a mythic+ run 10+ times but a level 11 running through a TW dungeon is a bridge too far… give me a break. Either you are really bad at playing devil’s advocate or the truth is it is 100% about the damage meter and your feels are being hurt seeing a level 11 beat you. Which is it? You want to give a pass to one person who is absolutely ruining the play for 4 other people but a person who is running through dungeons that you can queue up for endlessly or create your own group for. You are literally going to sit here and pretend that your play experience was ruined in a 15 year old dungeon on a 5 dungeon rotation in a dungeon that you get absolutely no useful loot for? Or is it about control?

I find it ironic that you think Blizzard should stay out of the business of people leaving Mythic+, which clearly they have decided is an issue. But something that they have decided isn’t an issue should be? Are you an oppositional defiant in real life? Or is it simply “Well I don’t run mythics because I am not good enough so it doesn’t impact me directly so it is fine for people to ruin those runs, but no one better ruin my runs!”

So… no source?

That was a bug in the code, that the guild took advantage of more than once.

What is going on here, isn’t a bug. Its intended game mechanics. Clearly you dont fully understand min-maxing. Probably dont grasp the concept of a 2x4 farm either.

Dude, literally they changed the scaling to match remix, they literally saw how level 11’s were running remix and had no issues with it. Where is your source that it isn’t intended? The absence of evidence isn’t evidence. You can’t make a claim and ask for proof while offering no proof while ignoring the fact that Blizzard has had 3 weeks to make changes to TW dungeon scaling if they wanted to and they haven’t. In fact the proof you need that they are okay with this is that they changed the way you could enchant gear warband gear for twinks… what did they do immediately after the change? They reverted it. What did they say when they reverted it?

"We originally planned to convert heirlooms to be Warbound until equipped to keep gear consistently using the new bind type. Upon further consideration, we’d like to continue to support the playstyle of setting up heirlooms with enchants and gems, then passing them to alts as needed. " Clearly they have no issues with twinks. Stop crying about trivial dungeons that no one cares about. Being the fun police is obnoxious.

No. It wasn’t a code bug. It was a design error/mistake, just like allowing a level 10 character to one shot everything.

Why people talk crap like that without knowing what really went down???

Blizzard used a SIEGE type environment to extend the frozen throne scenario and when they threw saronite bombs it would just increase that area again.

Not a bug in the CODE, but in the design.

I will wait here for you to show me the link that says “we didn’t intend for level 10s to crush TW dungeons.”

Its really quite clear you don’t understand how the game works at all. Also these people are doing this to ruin your day. They are doing it to farm badges, and/or power level their alts.

Scaling just gets hinky when you have squished the Item Levels of gear from multiple expansions not just once, but twice now. Then you have the level squish. Then you need to look at all the other changes that have happened to progression over the decades.

Now combine that with the fact as a level 11, you have access to what used to be level 70, or level 80, or higher gems, and then you have enchants, buff food, flasks, potions, and elixirs, and so on.

When you lock xp at 10,11, or even 20 with a trial account. It becomes very easy to make secondary stat rating, with very low raw stats. You can easily hit the haste cap, hit the speed cap, and then stack lifestealing on top of that.

This isn’t limited to those levels either. Its just the easiest to do at level 11, time investment is minimal.

My feral druid twink I made for farming old raids for transmog and mounts will absolutely decimate a level 80 on dps meters as well. And it will move at faster than mounted speed the whole time, indoors even.

It is at least dishonest when you ask but you don’t show yours. I tell you: you don’t show because you don’t have it.

But I’m glad you asked:

DUNGEONS AND RAIDS

  • Timewalking dungeons will now scale enemies to your current level as opposed to scaling you to the level of the dungeon.
    • Developer’s note: Timewalking now uses the same scaling system as Chromie Time, allowing us to better maintain Timewalking dungeons and control their intended tuning.

They clearly wanted to make better and intended tuning.
Now, are you saying their intended tuning is level 10 characters 1 shotting everything?

Yep… you literally just answered your own question. It was an intended change. It doesn’t say anywhere that it was unintended at all. You can read right? Self owning is great and I appreciate you doing it.

Ok either you’re illiterate or a troll.
Go sleep with your choice.

Read what you quoted and tell me where it says they didn’t intend for it? They purposely switched to Chromie Time. Do me a favor. Really it is a simple favor. Create a new character, go into Chromie Time and tell me what happens when you fight a mob. Then read what they said they did and tell me again how it wasn’t intended. In fact it isn’t even TW dungeons that experience this alone. If you are leveling this will happen in any dungeon. So again, how was it not intentional?

In fact I am going to hop onto Chromie Time with my level 11 and run just an ordinary dungeon and let you know what happens.

I’m leveling alts so I love the 5 min runs.

For a lvl 70 it’s not so much the gear as that there are break points where scaling is completely broken.

So guess what I did… just ran a non-TW Chromie Time dungeon on my level 11 monk twink, outside of the gear being ilvl 30 which sucks, damage scaling was exactly the same and I was doing the exact same damage. Looks like they intended exactly what they intended. I was shocked… shocked I tell you… well not that shocked. Have you never run a Chromie Time dungeon before? The scaling has been like this forever and ever and ever.
