Time walking exploiters

Is blizzard not going to do anything about the level 11 scaling exploiters in time walking dungeons doing 10,000,000 dps just running spamming whirlwind and clearing dungeons in less than 5 minutes?

Where’s the exploit?

Blizzard likely will eventually ruin the twinks.

You will get your wish, and experience old dungeons in all their former glory.

At which point you will wish the twinks were back.

i dont think op understands what exploits are.

blizzard coded level 10’s-11’s to be the strongest heroes in all of azeroth. stronger then end game raid geared heroes.

maybe you should sit down with blizzard and explain to them that is bad design, because that is the actual issue you are mistakenly calling an exploit.

Scaling in TW is currently hilariously broken, but it’s not clear why you call it an exploit. If you know of something, please elaborate.

Right now if one of my 80’s goes into TW, I can very quickly tell how the run is going to go:

  • The rest are lvl 80s: okay, it’ll be like older TW, we all gotta actually play.
  • The tank is 70-79: the tank will do roughly 4x the DPS of all the level 80 DPS combined. It will not make anybody feel particularly valued or like they’re contributing to the success of the run, but wheeeeeee mobs fall down fast.
  • The tank is a lvl 11 warrior: giggle at the multi-million DPS that the confused damage meters are seeing from the teensiest bladestorm ever. The instance will be done in a few minutes, while we all move at a dead run. Nothing to do here but laugh.

There seems to be another ridiculous scaling spike in the late 50’s; I’ve seen multiple 57/58/59 tanks in TW where they’re just belching loudly and doing 1.4 to 1.8 million DPS – as seen on the other end of scaling – and bosses just kind of slump over while I’m still ramping up.

That’s intended OP.

It sucks but it is what it is.

So dungeons get done in 5 minutes and I get to casually vape and follow? Sign me up.

its not an exploit. its blizzards bad scaling design.

the same thing happens in their other game d4. low levels with chain lightning one shot mobs way easier then high levels, lol.

Judging by the way you talk and your behavior
wow classic should suit you well

  • Slow and deadly
we don’t do that on retail.

This lol.

You could be level 45 and your level 9 friend will destroy mobs with ease. There were complaints regarding scaling in D4 just as well similar to this.

Not a exploit, its intended till Blizzard decides to change it.

Never gonna happen. The new player experience would be 100x worse if they were underpowered, needing to learn the combat system, AND lacking the tools to do better because they’re low level.

Players who want to hurry through the leveling because they know how to BE the powerhouse are not to be overlooked either.

A handful of ungrateful pouty players who don’t feel adequately special enough is a small and acceptable tradeoff for the benefits. Go questing if you want to be scenic.

The thing is, it’s not just lvl 11 twinks. Level 71 rolls through the dungeons just as well.

The scaling is borked. We enjoy the quick runs during this anniversary shiz, we want the tokens yo.

Edit: Literally seems like all the ones whining are whinging cause they aren’t the most stronk, elitist in the group. Git over it.

Yea, TW twinks aren’t a thing anymore due to blizz changing how the scaling works. So now it’s just randos with low level characters that are basically naked nuking everything in their path.

It’s not actually an exploit, it’s just poor scaling due to a number of reasons over the years.

They need to get rid of scaling altogether. Bring back dungeon level brackets. This experiment hasn’t worked. Not fun.

They wouldn’t dare
