I said before this launched that WoW just isn’t designed for having level 10s and level 80s in the same group. We’ve never had this before. TWW dungeons are 70-80, CT dungeons are 10-70, some dungeons have higher minimums and TW was 30-45+ (depending on expansion).

Fundamentally content scaling is bad design. Period. The only way to make it work is for you to get weaker as you level. That doesn’t feel good. If content doesn’t scale, it doesn’t matter that you get weaker as you level because you’re doing new things.

The TWW prepatch downsacaled WoD dungeon gear from ilvl 56 (Warforged) to 29. If they do this, what happened to the lessons from that?

It’s worth adding that TW literally doesn’t matter. There’s no competitive element to it. All we’re doing is making levelling slightly faster. That’s it.

Blizzard may well hit this with the nerf hammer, however. Another case of “fun detected”.
