I love how hordes quick to defend their caves position. Your post is right and alliance shouldn’t be required to have every speed boost possible to meet horde in the middle. This isn’t for 100% mount riders it’s for all players. Horde would easily meet any premade by balinda if they had all the buffs too. Alot of pro players know the map is in hordes favor and horde knows it they are just putting up the arguments to keep the advantage.
No, it’s a echo of issues on this matter. Horde can easily turtle any game and force a turtle at any point in the game via SHGY to IWB, starting gate to IBGY, mass recalling to the keep and holding the 2nd gate that even premades most times Cannot break. Those are all major choke points where horde has the opportunity to do quick recoverys. On the alliance side we got SPGY to stop horde and the bridge. But the bridge is hardly a choke point since horde can easily backdoor into the alliance base and cap the aid station without the towers hitting any horde. But I am not in complaining about that cuz the rhgy. Is also out of range of horde towers if alliance is able to get there through a defensive horde team. And I am barely breaching the surface on how unbalanced the map is in hordes favor and yes, I have played horde from late vanilla to cata aswell as alliance during those times.
Ah yes, my deep rooted “colors” that make me think that calling anything over 15 minutes in an AV match a “turtle” a retail mindset. That is some hard hitting controversial insight right there.
No, it’s actually the fact that any time the Alliance complain about a Horde advantage, you fall back to screaming “Go to retail”. I’ll give you hint, people either quit or transferred. In this situation, the Alliance will stop Qing for AV. You have stated your intention “Go to retail”. That is what you desire from us. You want us to quit.
Many alliance that are already exalted with AV most likely won’t que again making AV in classic virtually non existent for the horde unless alliance gets some type of insensitive to que like 7 or 10g per que… That’s my assumption. Other than that exalted alliance doesn’t have a reason to que unless it’s for quick honor gain with instant ques.
Looks like boycott 2.0 incoming. I wonder how blizz will respond? Something tells me their first move will have something to do with a cave relocation… maybe even some Balinda buffs. But who knows right? We can’t see into the future.
I want opponents who actually want to PVP in Alterac Valley, defend and attack objectives, and not just treat it as a loot pinata.
The “go to retail” comment was about a clown who suggested that 15 minutes was a turtle, but you repeatedly attempt to play the victim as though I said it to you. It had absolutely nothing to do with a perceived advantage.
You have demonstrated that you have no desire to engage in meaningful PVP in AV, so if you personally quit playing AV, I would lose absolutely zero sleep.
Which was a result of reinforcements being implemented because of whining that AV was too long, despite all of the neutering and gutting it had already suffered.
