I guess that was the end of that. Keep telling people to quit. You will get what you deserve.
I donāt think he understands or maybe he just wants to hold on to the advantage. They can easily get their PvP fix at iceblood if thatās his actual reason.
I understand that the moment your premade queue hopping crutch was kicked out from under you, you scrambled for something to blame your inability on. Ignoring the benefit of meeting the enemy at a place where you have elites nearby to help and a bunker providing assistance. Pretending that your goal is not to avoid PVP, lest you have to change your tired non-PVP zerg strategy.
I understand you quite well. You are an embarrassment to your faction.
Pretending horde canāt do this much much better at iceblood even if the start location is moved. You want to crutch on a clear horde advantage and will use any excuse to keep it. You are an embarrassment to your faction.
Lol. OK, meet just north of IBGY instead of just south of SHGY. The Horde tears would flow fast and free then.
i was a premade leader earned T2 leadership for alliance when premades where going strongā¦ see the issue is that alliance needs premades to winā¦ from our side we have to be very organized to take IBGY and the towers if we mess up on defense and caps. its a very very long turtle.
Horde has alot of major advantages with the starting gate vs premade or notā¦
First is, with the starting gate being that much closer to SHGY horde have the huge advantage in the initial race at the start to SHGY with the option to cut off all alliance unless alliance has all 100% mounts and mount booting enchants. i have noticed not many horde needing these enchants because even the stragglers on horde side still meet the fastest alliance right before balinda.
once alliance loses SHGY in a PUG its pretty much over. we dont have a way past nor enough time to get south to take any towers and thats after losing SPGY when we get sent to the starting gate. yes, we dont get sent to DBGY unlike the horde when they lose FWGYā¦ horde get sent to RHGY when losing FWGYā¦ the only way alliance gets sent to DBGY is if we are on the bridge or in that very small grave zone.
Second advantage horde have is that they can D up anywhere and maintain a turtle for hours at not one or two choke pointsā¦ horde have 5 choke points including SHGY. the list is this.
- SHGY at the start. its not our choke point, that choke point actually sits behind SHGY at IWBā¦ once capped its very hard to get by for allianceā¦
- IBT at the blockade which is before IBGY unlike how SHGY is set up where alliance has to split forces to maintain a fair defense. horde doesnt need to do this. they have a much higher advantage when defending this partictular choke point because the GY give them the option to flank alliance at IBT and shut them downā¦ (this is what happened in alliance premade matches when horde turtled at IBGY nearly every game)
- Tower point right after the horde lose IBGY. horde have the starting gate as a second grave yard for IBGY to take up defense against alliances strategic triangle and continue turtling until alliance manages to succeed in burning both towers. once that happens alliance still isnt out of the clear for a winā¦
as a side note when i lead premades, alliance had one option after burning towersā¦ and that was to rush straight to RHGY to maintain defense in the frost wolf keepā¦ horde actually still have the advantage early and late game. it just took alliance premades to force horde to use the map to its advantagesā¦ anyway. iāll talk more about that laterā¦
- first gate to frost wolf keep if horde recall before alliance gets there.
- second gate to frost wolf keep.
what choke points does alliance have? 2.
first is SPGY. which is hardly a choke point to be honest. horde can literally over run this position any time during the gameā¦
why do i say this? its because of its location horde can attack from any side. push alliance back to the GY for a cap. any alliance not that is not on the bridge or near DBGY or near the frozen river will respawn at that starting gate and not DBGY. giving horde yet another huge advantageā¦ we then have to either recall, run all the way around to the back door or some how manage make it to the bridge and die but by that time horde usually have the base in their controlā¦
second choke point is the bridge. no explanation there.
as you can see the advantages and disadvantages horde actually have to face. its alot less than what alliance needs to do in order to win.
so, back to the topic of why horde needs their starting gate moved backā¦ now first of all i am not saying move it back all the way to where it was previously tested in BC release one timeā¦ i am going to say it needs to be moved back atleast 300 yards or atleast half way between or before frost wolf riders. yes that much would make a huge difference in future AV battles. giving both sides the option to attack or defend giving both sides much room to duke it out and flank the enemyā¦
only other option if horde protest in the order that their starting gate doesnt get moved back is to give alliance a second passage on the far right like how it is on AV 2.0 where alliance can by pass SHGY choke point which would allow alliance to run past SFGY.
in the beginning alliance had the run of the map only because horde didnt have recall trinkets. which lead horde to be what they are nowā¦ but now that horde know their strengths on the map its time for changeā¦ i mean it took horde along time to figure it outā¦ but, in the end alliance honestly cant win unless its a premade alliance team with a near full raid groupā¦ or alliance gets really lucky in getting a good team vs crappy horde. but on my alt i have not seen a single win and i reached revered before hitting 60 and its the same horde strategy every gameā¦
