Blizzard sent me an email which is attached offering a refund of shadowlands. So I submitted a ticket and I noticed it had been canceled but I don’t remember canceling it. Can someone let me know why it was canceled? Is my refund approved? I have no emails or otherwise showing what happened.
I went to contact support and just asked for a refund. I read in a forum post by another blizzard employee to go to the payment area which I did but I saw nothing regarding a refund for shadow lands so I just submitted a ticket. The ticket status shows canceled. I never previously asked for any refund and the email from Blizzard just came yesterday. The email says if you’d prefer a refund visit the customer support site.
Thanks for your quick reply but out of frustration I am just going to pass. I clicked your link it came up with an offer of $14.99 monthly game time and I hit select thinking it would let me select my Shadow lands purchase and I am guessing I did the wrong thing. This should be more straight forward like showing me a list of purchases as opposed to what it is doing. Anyways thanks for trying to help and your quick response.
I used the link below and the Blizzard rep processed the refund for me. (Still working on getting it refunded to my card instead of bnet balance, but at least they processed the refund.) It’s an option to try if the automated refund system doesn’t work.
You already know that they can’t and won’t do this though. So why waste their time? They’re not going to refund something to a credit/debit card that didn’t come from that card.
There are other factors you aren’t aware of. The point of the post was to offer the link for refund assitance. Just let it go instead of trying to harp on a parenthetical comment.
The factors that matter though, are the fact that a purchase refunded will be refunded by the means that purchase was made. Balance can not be converted back to cash for reasons, so once loaded into Balance it’s only there to buy Blizzard digital goods or services. Not to convert gold, to balance, to cash.
And of course it overlooks the OP, why the ticket was canceled. Likely because it never actually got submitted, or the OP was already declined in the past.
I submitted another request and it got canceled again. I would rather them just email me and say it was declined as opposed to just showing canceled. But if it getting canceled means declined just let me know please. Thanks!
So I followed your link a second time and it shows a refund for a monthly payment of $14.99 and not choosing that I instead chose the other option which says something like choose another transaction not listed here and I chose that and it goes to a blank screen with nothing on it.
