Depends when the flag gets reviewed. I’ve gotten 24hrs for something I said a week prior.
Don’t sugarcoat it
I’m on here daily. I see some of the exact same people on here daily. Some people I’ve seen this on are here daily, were reported and still posted daily for weeks.
And the fact that they can still post pictures.
If they’re using vulgar language, any moderator would infract them. The only other conclusion is that the moderators are cherry picking.
It is. You can keep ignoring and reporting to your hearts content.
The sugar been licked off my coat .
Then maybe what they said wasn’t as insulting as you want to believe.
Calling someone a “f’n idiot” (using the real word) is insulting. I have over 25 years of forum moderation and any moderator worth his salt will agree with that.
Well I can personally assure you there are consequences. Now maybe they aren’t applied equally but that does not mean there are none.
That’s a loaded statement. There “are” consequences because possible consequences are listed in the code of conduct. However, not every person is treated the same. Some people on here are nearly licensed trolls while other people get infracted for disagreeing, unpopular opinion or being assertive. That’s the nice thing about being in discord where people post screenshots of their tickets and the posts related.
One sign of a bad forum is when they use “nonconstructive” in their rules. Nonconstructive can encompass 90% of the comments on here. It’s used by poor moderators when they 1) personally disagree 2) are called out for making a mistake and want something to fall back on.
I’ve seen more moderation rookie mistakes on here than any forum I’ve posted in. Other forums have their flaws too such as “buddy buddy” situations.
you can’t put GMs on ignore.
you can report people for language/chat infractions, or for cheating.
Both of which are reviewed prior to account actions being applied.
this is how stupid rumors start.
…you know there are gullible folk who are actually going to believe this… right?
in fact, I’d be willing to bet that someone is going to come along and argue that this is exactly how things work, just because you said so.
knowing the name of a quest, is usually enough.
if you check the comments, there are generally a few posts from people explaining how to start the quest, and if there are any previous requirements.
…and it’s awesome when one of the blues comes along and explains exactly why the person got the response they did, because it’s normally due to some sort of user error or just a general rage-fest on the players behalf.
Just because you don’t like something, doesn’t mean it’s breaking any rules.
it may have been a case where the entire thread was out of control.
this usually just results in the thread getting removed, instead of going through each individual post and actioning 200+ posters.
Not anymore.
One of my favorite suspensions.
Yea the support system is great
I’ve got 4 responses to one ticket and not once has it been the same answer
An automated, one reading a script, one flat out wrong, and one lying
Good stuff
so show us.
i hear about these types of interactions, but nobody ever wants to actually share them
i’ve never had anything but positive interactions, so i’m extremely curious to see some of these nightmares people like to talk about.

According to them you’re totally supposed to lose stygia while dying inside the raid
Weird that it’s never happened before, or to anyone else I know
tickets dont help much anymore. youll wait a bunch and to get an automated response - probably not totally related to your issue.
theyll make you feel like they didnt read your ticket at all.
chances are whatever your problem is, google will be more help than a ticket.
it’s not like back in the days when support was stellar. that was a different era.
That was my last one. And I’m leaving negative reviews about their response but still saying positive things to play the game
This has been my experience with GM’s most of the time. Its like they keep tabs on you and purposefully avoid making contact while you are online
Truth. 5 years at a grocery store making that. Of course, I went back to school and worked to get better jobs.
they reduced staff to keep costs down.
I’m not convinced they actually even attempt to contact you in-game first anymore.
That’s legitimately hilarious.
