I think it’s like being in a toxic relationship, and when you go to leave, they beg you to stay and tell you how they’re going to change and be better… but deep down you know they’re kind of hopeless.
Also don’t get your hopes up on upcoming changes, the lawsuit shut down all production.
Finally, I’d say that a month ago I wouldn’t have even thought about quitting entirely… what brought me over? A dev team that clearly is just out of touch (and has been for years). It really feels like the blizz staff is entirely run by accountants trying to squeeze every last dime out of you, rather than people who actually *gasp give a damn about the games themselves. You saw it on retail, but Classic hasn’t been immune… The changes talked about here are a step in the right direction, but I don’t pay blizzard a sub to beta test the content for them and HOPE it gets fixed at some later date… Instead rather than hoping it gets fixed, I used that time to instead try the competition, something that again, would have been unthinkable to me even a month ago…but we all have our breaking points. And once my foot was already out the door, and especially after having a wonderful time on my ff14 trial account, I just can’t justify coming back.
Some advice for blizzard, if you want to turn this ship around…You need to figure out how to fix things before players get to the point of even trying another game… because once they’ve mentally committed to even looking for something “better”, you’re basically on borrowed time at best. Get someone passionate about GAMES not dollars that has an actual vision, and then make the changes that need to be made on a timeline that actually stops players like me from looking for better options.

the problem there is they used a retail points system for rating, and the vast majority of players are still sub 1500 rating… and are only just now getting to where they can afford their first piece of arena gear for the season.
Players beta testing systems thrown together by devs with zero knowledge or foresight as to to the consequences of those systems

Holly Longdale’s experience in PvP is she should be “target practice” as she doesn’t do PvP, but nonetheless she loves the PvP community.
This is why she don’t give a crap about server imbalances.
All of that sounds amazeballs
What are yours?
I would like to start SSC and The Eye in a month or so
What are mine?
I guys mine are amaze too.

Yes honestly I thought they were gonna pull a “WC3 reforged” with the LFG tool and guild banks.
I’m impressed
Retailing Classic and the community rejoices. I guess everyone that liked vanilla WoW moved on and I’m the only idiot still here?

better get ready to pvp for those pve weapons that you dont have prio on bois
What timing to announce P2 testing…
So is the sub drop as it’s continuing to drop as we speak. Yeah funny.
Is there something in that post that makes me want to care about what you have to say?
Seems a bit too soon to be putting T5 into the game. I mean if we think about raid resets and tier sets. Now granted not everyone will want their tier sets but lets assume you have a perfect distribution of tokens so that none ever go to waste/offspec. You would still take 25 weeks of the raids just to get everyone their tier set (unless you do split runs) That would mean each tier should last ~half a year as we only get 1 token per boss kill in Mag/Gruuls. As it is even if you never missed a lockout you could only have max 8 token drops of each armor slot.
It seems the community wants WotLK by 2022. Full speed ahead I guess
I feel like a dumbass now for grinding the hell out of honor and spending it…
I wonder if people going “OMG TOO FAST!” realize that TBC launched with SSC and TK.
Gruul’s/Mag/Kara were never intended to be the only raiding.
TBC didn’t launch with everyone knowing absolutely every single detail in the game. Very different circumstances.

While this is a true statement with how the playerbase was back in the day T4 raids were very much relevant while they won’t be in Classic if T5 is out. The entire reason of separating them is due to the extra knowledge by the community. Hyjal which was available at launch wasn’t even completed until a few weeks before Black Temple was opened and that’s the top end guilds not the majority. As it is now if they had released SSC/TK/Hyjal at launch people would have them all cleared within the first raid lockout.

I wonder if people remember it took 19 Days to get world first for Gruul, 40 days for world first for Mag, 73 days for world first for SSC and 130 days for world first in TK.
If SSC and TK were released day 1 last month it would have been already cleared and people would complain that half the raids in TBC HAVE BEEN CLEARED IN 2 MONTHS

That is true. And people would still be asking for more content - which would be BT and ZA.
If it was up to the pve sweaties, they’d be out of content by december.
