This new expansion hates old people

No, those people actually probably aren’t interested in Blizzard turning people away with poor design choices.

Why does everything have to fall in the laps of “the elitist 1%”? They don’t benefit or gain from people leaving the game.

Nobody, including that “1%”, asked Blizzard to upend their own UI system. Your topic has a very good point otherwise, but this tidbit needlessly alienates.

The game director was literally from a guild called elitist jerks. Thats why I said they design the game for the elitist 1%.

That’s a clown.

That’s very much an illogical conclusion to reach in relation to Ion having been (here’s the funny part, he actually still is) in a guild.

What exactly is your point here?

I noticed this too on my laptop. I’m sure they’ll come out with “Dis game wUz meant 2 B on a desktop only…don’t yall have 49” curved 4K?"

In crease the ui setting

elitist jerks was actually created to help the casual player and was a joke by the creators of said group.

Its not a thing. You cannot remake the old ui either.

You can change the ui settings to make it bigger

Stuffs too small for him :person_shrugging:
Every change Blizz makes isn’t going to make everyone happy. I would suggest addons but I’ll get hit with “I shouldn’t have to use addons” v_v so they will just suffer I suppose for years until Blizz adds what they want.

I’m just going to stick with elvui .

I can make the boxes and fonts for everything pretty much the size I want so I can see better (with my classes on of course)

Imagine some of you still telling people after 18 yrs just use an addon cause blizz still can’t get a ui worth a crap and accommodate people with sight problems while their player base is steadily getting older and more sight issues will steadily rise lol. Should of just left it alone.

is there an age where glasses/contacts stop working?

i have terrible eyesight normally but im gucci with my gaming glasses on

Alright, someone explain to me how this game hates old people when you can literally do this and it’s not even the largest size you can go:

tell me where in my post that I said I was against people with disabilities.

Disabilities cannot be “fixed”. People who live sub optimally for years because they didn’t have access to easy solutions that existed are not a good example of anything, except maybe the parts of the game that are less accessible because Blizzard has chosen to make them that way.

How dare those people use google? They should ignore decades of research and industry and figure it out all by themselves with no help.

And you’re trying to convince us you have a disability and are in a job where you are supposed to be helping people?

Something’s not quite right if you expect disabled people to suffer for years before they deserve help getting access to existing solutions.

Yes, it’s on the PTR. That’s where I’ve been playing with that and the new talent trees.

If you go into the edit menu then click on a bar once it is displayed on the screen and it highlights a editing pop up for that bar or function will open allowing it to be adjusted .

Well, I just logged onto the PTR (and as an aside, a BfA version of my main was still hanging out there which was kinda weird haha) and played around a little and it looks like it’s pretty simple for an addon to increase the scale of those buttons.

Below is a screenshot of the proof of concept. It still has issues (see incorrectly sized talent pane highlight) but that can be fixed. Give me a day or two and I’ll have it packaged up in a proper addon with a slider to adjust their size.

Can a visually impaired person even read the text on those menus to get that far?

Asking for a few ui loadout presets isn’t unreasonable. Saying that “they hate the elderly” is clearly hyperbole, but there is always room for improvement.
