While I agree they could do some more work for the vision impaired, someone like myself with eyesight issues who plays on a 55 inch monitor is perfectly fine. Even scaling stuff down is too big.

ok so for those super techs out there you can change the individual square size in the edit section I tried that and it did not work…(its for the square blocks only) as far as I can tell please give constructive assistant instead of attacking people…

It’s not the request that I take issue with here, but his attitude.

He could have said “Blizzard, it’d be nice if there were more accessibility options for people with bad vision, such as . . .”

But instead he opened up with “This expansion hates old people!” which is hyperbolic and ridiculous.

It’s a matter of getting attention. “This expansion hates old people!” is going to draw more attention and clicks than “Blizzard, it’d be nice if there were more accessibility options for people with bad vision”. The thread got 90 replies in 5 hours. If OP went with the more milquetoast title, it probably would have gotten maybe 10 or so replies in that amount of time before disappearing below other threads. It’s called clickbait, and it gets clicks.

If that’s the case I’ll stick with ElvUi. I have watch some peoples streams of the alpha and beta and its beautiful and I look forward to it. I’m lucky and have a 48 inch 4k oled for my monitor.
If I had to use a small monitor it would be rough for me as I hate wearing my contacts or glasses when gaming.
I hope they allow for making larger fonts, etc.

Yeah I play on a 4K monitor and I don’t have the greatest vision either. UI scale works fine for me on the current version of the game, don’t see why it would be any different after the big rework.

There is a ‘classic’ option but it’s more related to the layout - where things are on the screen than the size of things, unfortunately.

What they’re looking for is the UI Scale options in the options. It increases the size of the UI pieces. (or decreases)

Considering they’re actively ignoring a request for @target conditional that me and a blind member of the CC have brought up is an accessibility issue to not allow, I don’t think phrasing matters much.

Especially for those with vision problems. I just logged in the PTR and was amazed on how they ruined the game. Their so-called Edit Mode doesnt actually give players like me what we need to actually play. You can move everything around but everything is so small and tiny, you cannot see what youre fighting.
Players who wanted to change their UI already had options to do this. Why would you force this on everyone. Oh i know, its Blizzard listening to the elitist 1%.
This is a horrible change. Please consider reverting this back to how it looked before.

Are we not able to use UI addons anymore? Just wondering. Because you can just use a different one to customize it and make it big.

BRO. I sat there for 2 HOURS fixing everything to how I liked and then guess WHAT?

Throws me options on other alts. to try the different UI setups. So I do that and then when I want to go back to how I originally had it?

I’ve never felt the need to change my UI but I guess I’ll have to start looking at add-ons that still work when DF comes out.

Bartender is best. You can also get MoveAnything with it.
