This. I’d be fine doing heroics more, especially the daily, if I could queue for it.
I remember when you could queue with someone and leave and the other person would stay in the group.
I joined many dungeons where the tank would just instantly leave, and you would know why.
I started doing it when lfr came out in cata because why not?
Blizzard doesnt want LFD because it causes a profit loss. They want the $ from server transfers (another reason why they wont consolidate servers) and boosts.
The portion of the playerbase that doesnt want it just wants to keep other players down. You can feel the entitlement and elitism in some of these guys posts, notably the level 30 Paladins and level 11 Hunters you see adamantly fighting against lfd.
Tell me how no RDF tool is “good for the game”? You can’t. You know why? Because what I want out of the game isn’t the same as what you want. There has to be a balance for ALL players, not just you. And no RDF? Is just balanced for GDKP/bots or extreme hardcores that casuals will never be able to compete with. But go ahead. Tell me how RDF, a tool that helps people find groups for DUNGEONS, isn’t good for the game. Please. Oh, it breaks immersion? Yeah, you’re right, I guess the GDKP system fixed that, my bad. Tell me how a system designed to help players run content that literally helps them get to the end game content where the real story and fun is to be had is bad for the game.
Curious how does making it harder to do dungeons keep a player down? It’s dungeons not raids. Every player is eventually going to end up in raid gear anyway.
Probably, but not necessarily. Dungeons are a step in the gearing process towards raiding.
Yeah but, even if raid finder thing gets added mid xpac? Not in the beginning.
Without dungeon finder it’s going to be tougher and a much bigger hassle to get dungeon groups going. Longer to get geared for heroics, even longer to get geared from heroics, fewer badges per week.
It’s definitely got some drawbacks.
Sounds like typical Retail WoW design: artificially slow players down and string them along to keep them paying.
Because it’s an MMORPG and not a lobby-FPS game.
If you don’t want an MMORPG experience, you should not play an MMORPG. It really is that simple.
Blizzard isn’t going to design their game, a Classic MMORPG, around players that aren’t interested in Classic MMORPG gameplay.
Tasteless use of Bold font. Overdone.
Functionality is what’s important to me. The bolded parts are, apparently, needed to get the message through to some people.
No one is asking to be carried, but requiring full t6 just to do t4 content is a problem
Make your own group and set your own requirements then.
Thank you for demonstrating exactly why LFD was originally implemented and why its needed now more than ever
And why is that? Because some people feel entitled to have others form groups for them around their desired requirements?
Yeah, I don’t think that’s going to convince anyone that LFD needs to come back.
It holds players a little more accountable for their daily bread rather the game easy mode-ing the process.
Whether you think that’s great or pure evil is in the eye of the beholder.
don’t bother yourself, it’s just 3~5 players hating on lfd and they keep posting on alts.
they’re miserable as they’re fighting for their real life income because they’re selling all the gold they collect from selling, leveling boosts / HR certain hc items to sell to players/ reversing all greens & Unneeded blues for disenchanting/vendoering.
So OFC they’ll fight lfd as a life threatening issue because lfd will prevent them from doing that.

same goes for many of my posts on other topics when i point at gold sellers from gdkp’s, they report me on all their alts, it’s laughable how those desperate people doing real money trade and want to silence anyone pointing that out.
play healer on multiple characters, wont pug unless im the leader picking people and picking based on gearscore. the other times ill be running with guild. You asked for this, not me.
LMAO, okay you got me…oh wait, it was in the ORIGINAL RELEASE. So I guess wow hasn’t been a MMORPG since Wrath. OR maybe, your opinion isn’t fact. The RDF is a tool used to help people in the MMORPG. It literally helps the community on many fronts to eventually engage with end game content. LMAO, using that as an argument means you don’t have one. WoW with the original RDF tool was still an MMORPG game and your opinion of what makes an MMORPG isn’t relevant.
As to your second point? Again, it was in the expansion, albeit later, but still in it. So? by your logic, it should be in the classic release.
As I’ve said before, you either want Wrath Classic, or you don’t. You don’t get to cherry pick what PARTS you want.
