This is why you don't want LFD

I don’t join town hall meetings I host them

Seems like you just host roasting sessions

I’m going to unlike this post just so I can like it a second time.

Rdf exists in retail. It just doesn’t give you top tier loot. So no different than rdf was in wotlk. It didn’t give you top tier loot.

You are trying to apply a double standard.

Wotlk didn’t have it for a greater percentage of its life than it did.

And blizzard has chosen to not add it.

it was in at Patch 3.3.0 and if they start on the design of 3.3.5 it should be in,

Yep, congrats you figured out why we have all these threads on it.

Wrong. In OG WotLK I was able to use badges I earned from spamming LFD to buy T10. More proof you didn’t play back then.

They didn’t exactly put this to a vote, friend.

They literally came out, announcing that it was definitively removed, and even doubled down on it saying “they were unlikely to go back on it”.

They will always be accepting of feedback, obviously. There’s always a chance they do anything. They could make the Wrath Elite Package include a pink unicorn, but I think it’s time to start reconciling with how you’re going to form your groups without LFD. Spoilers: it’s not that bad. You will live.

Lots of systems in Classic and TBC Classic were added only near the end of their respective expansion’s original timeline, yet in all cases Blizzard used the last patch system. Except for one case: dungeon finder.

No, they chose to remove it.

He’s not wrong. It was added in the ICC patch, which went on to be the one of the worst content droughts in WoW history, but still the 2nd to last patch of the expansion only if you count Halion as an actual content patch (it wasn’t, it was just the boss).

One of the longest content droughts and yet subs still held steady and rose into early Cata. You know why? Because dungeon finder gave the mass casuals something to do, and easy access to do it.

They also said “I just said it’s the current plan, not that there’s no chance of ever changing our mind.” direct quote from Brian.

Hmm if you remember a Pink unicorn in Wrath maybe you were playing another game and just confused.

Wow and guess what if they do put it in you’ll live too. I just won’t be able to play the game fully if they don’t.

Yes, one of the “worst content droughts in WoW history” when even my backwater server was popping the whole time. Sorry, but you can’t gaslight me about 3.3 when I actually played back then.

Because it was the final tier of expansion with easy catch up mechanisms (WOTLK started the “current tier is only relevant tier” style of play) and people wanted to see the conclusion to the Arthas story from Warcraft III.

LFD could have been there or not, wouldn’t have made a difference.

Yes, which is exactly what I just said. It’s not impossible, nothing is impossible. They could do whatever they want, but their plan is what it is: a non-LFD WOTLK, just like the original (for most of it).

I played too and I’m not asking for cookies. Relax, turbo.

I feel the same way. People trying to educate me on late Wrath dungeons. Hell no, they’ve entered the closest thing I have to expertise in this game.

You’ve been on turbo on this subject for the last month. Just sayin’ :tipping_hand_woman:

You mean people that have a path of progression, even if it is slower, stay subscribed? Amazing!

not in the current plan = Definitively removed…?

You might want to get your memory checked out with that and the unicorn…

Just because it didn’t work for some doesn’t mean it didn’t work for others.
