This is why ticket times go up

You are woefully underinformed about current events.

You truly are really bad at having a conversation, aren’t you? LOL God, the crap you make up is just astounding.

No one is going to listen to or believe anyone who acts like this. Just keep digging that grave!

You were given factual information and told to go read the CS forums and all of the SFAs posts on this stuff.

If you want to continue to spread misinformation and purposely act obtuse, that’s on you. At this point, you aren’t worth a conversation with how you troll others. No one devolved to personal insults until you. So good job proving even more how much no one should ever listen to you.

LOL it truly is sad watching your desperate replies of nothing and insults.

Nope, read above.
You have been proven objectively wrong.
Just because you plug your ears doesn’t mean facts aren’t true. Feel free to false flag me as your primary personality trait.

edit: using my own words against me that described you in this thread as a form of your projection is flattering by the way. Thanks!

Those are a few of the FSAs pointing out what folks did, within what they can say publicly. They don’t repeat verbatum. There are also a bunch of threads with some good explanations that I don’t see. If someone really wants an explanation of what they did, the CS forum will certainly tell them the general category. Esp for a chat violation.

The cheating violations they don’t give you the details at all. Not what was detected or when. So you would be right about that part.

I don’t think this is the first thread he has done this is. I THINK I remember this character saying that nonsense before. They don’t want to head to the CS forum though. They know exactly what would happen - in that a Blue would be happy to answer their questions - but they might not like the answer. EDIT - I just checked post history. Yeah… quite intent on being argumentative, even when wrong. Saying things to try to instigate or prolong arguments. Not worth the engagement effort I don’t think.

a few seconds in from one of your links, a CS blue message:
https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/suspension-bewilderment/

Proves again what I’m saying.
You guys are doing a great job of proving me right since I’m not allowed to just link screenshots here. I appreciate it!

The other links seem to be discussion and fluff talk, appeasing inquiries, but not confirming or denying anything other than some anecdotal thing where the inquiry was a misunderstanding and corrected.

Troll confirmed.

But they won’t tell you what you said to warrant a mute, silence, or suspension

ok I have to go.
Enjoy continually trying to appease each others’ cognitive dissonance while I’m gone

Yeah, the GMs can’t see the warning. It just tells you that you got reported. It does not stay with the account and does not have any penalty.

IF it rises to the level of an actual ticket, then the GMs can review it, see it, and act on it, or dismiss it if the report is incorrect.

They have a whole article explaining what a Warning is. Then Blues go on and explain the difference between a Warning (no penalty) and an actual Silence or Suspension.

I’ve never heard of a regular/average player ever having a silence overturned in 2 days… it sounds like a huge coincidence or you happened to catch the staff/CS people during a “slow” time if they responded to the ticket that fast

In almost every single instance where I’ve heard of a silence getting overturned it was a streamer. Even small streamers get a fairly quick turnaround on tickets/appeals

For example, a small-time “mom n pop” M+ streamer I like to watch - who averages 30-50 viewers on an average night - got hit with a false silence after some haters/trolls filed mass-false reports against one of his M+ group listings in the LFG listings

He was effectively going to be “out of action” for a period of 10 days (that was what his “sentence” was) since his entire stream revolves around doing free M+ carries for stream viewers. He was kinda depressed/bummed out for like 2 days and relied on his Discord buddies to post his M+ carry advertisements in the meantime

Then, magically on day 3 the ticket got looked at and his silence was overturned. But for the average non-streamer player what usually happens is something like this:

  • false ban/silence/suspension duration: 10 days
  • …actual CS personnel response to the ticket/appeal: day 11

…so by the time CS dept actually responds to the ticket or appeal, the underlying ban or suspension has already expired :man_facepalming::man_facepalming::man_facepalming:

Warnings are not sanctions. Please learn the difference between the two.

Nothing proved you right.

This is false. If you ask, they absolutely will. SFAs have even pointed it out that some were told in their tickets and have even told them what they said was wrong.

A warning is not a squelch or sanction.

Good.

This really depends on what is going on at the time. The GMs handle tickets from all Blizzard games and services, not just WoW. So anything submitted is in their queue. There are times the wait has been over a week, but that is rare. It is usually a day or two, esp for higher priority issues like billing/account access. Appeals or the generic “not found here” can go a bit longer, but rarely more than a few days.

You might remember when it was almost 2 weeks though - it DID happen! I think there were several game releases and some purchase or tech issues all at once. Then maybe throw a ban wave or two on top.

What’s missing is the other side of the story. What was this “account action”? What’s the story on that side of the appeal? Just because you say you were wrongly accused that doesn’t mean that you were.

I don’t know why the OP didn’t include this, but I would assume this is the thread they are referencing with screenshots. It’s something, but we have to accept the poster’s claim that they were never banned in the first place.

https://www.reddit.com/r/classicwow/comments/1aw9ds0/customer_support_said_that_my_permanent_ban_was/

It is, I did not include it because it could be considered Advertising, I do not wish to have my account actioned.

it’s kind of terrifying to think that there are people who have nothing better to do than make stuff up.

…and this thread is full of them.

i mean, come on.
there must be a better way to use your time?

like… learning to crochet tinfoil?

It’s so funny how people can post “screenshots” and tons of people collectively and “conveniently” forget that Photoshop is a thing.
