This is the suckiest WoW anniversary

Are you responding to the wrong post?

I would like it much MUCH better if the world bosses would drop a bronze token once a day/ first kill. That would improve everything so much imo.

I have… 18? I think right now. The ensembles are like 60? Makes me not wanna try…

We want to do stuff to earn the rewards blizz but you aren’t making it easy.

That’s probably the most annoying thing I keep hearing.
How quickly people have forgotten what actual content droughts and lack of content feels like.

That too… so blizz is like… here 3 months lol.
“Zomg I can’t get everything day 1!”

And don’t you dare point that out, otherwise you are a shill.

Two things. Your first set is 60, the next is 40, abs then it’s 20 per set. Secondly, once you get 100 tokens, you’ll be able to hard farm then as much as you want. If you continue to earn at 20 a week, it should only take you 3 weeks to get your first set. That is what Blizzard set the goal at for the first set.

Don’t forget to do the 3 world quest thing. Each of those will give you one token as well.

Ah yes, Blizzard respecting that we have a life. The absolute horror of it all!

I’m all seriousness, this is a better event than the 1 week we usually get. I think a month was one of the longer ones.

I, at the very least, appreciate it.

I really wonder what these cry babies would have done during the year long content drought during WOD. I get on these forums to help someone every once in a great while and just read the entitled babies scream about a game they don’t even play.

It doesn’t cost anything to be positive and be the glass half full.

Same copy paste nonsense. Who knows, maybe they did. Someone liked their post so they figured negativity gets likes and continued doing so even though times have massively changed.

Like we get several mid season patches now. Not a full year of nothing.
Even as recently as SL. We went so long with nothing. Then korthia dropped… that was it for another long stretch.

Heck, doesn’t cost anything to be realistic either, lol. I also did my best to keep to with the news of the patch.

Ah, one year? Child’s play compared to the 14 months at the last patch of Cata.

was expecting more fun tbh , didnt even cared about the BRD Raid , all my guild said that it was bugged , and impossible to do on heroic , normal was doable but not rewarding enough (champion track gear is old news)

unsub and play something else? thas what half the playerbase decided to do at least.

There is a difference between being realistic and a doomsayer though. A lot of these posts are just overly negative just to be negative.

Also why do we have to do a daily to get the other half of the event exp and rep which has historically been given to everyone for free permanently? Is 20% for a special event really that much to ask?

yeah, I’m digging it. Enjoy the relaxing TW dungeons, like going out around the old world are grouping up to murder-death-kill OG bosses, and just seeing folks participating in [Fair]light-hearted events.

The free moggin during the dress up is boss, too.

The Blizzard apologists in these threads are puke-inducing.

We’re apologists because we don’t cry about every single thing blizzard does? That’s quite the stretch… we just think the anniversary event is fine and have enjoyed it, cope harder.

Careful, keep posting like that and they’ll make characters in game to send volatile whispers at you.

Some muppet did that to me earlier today, reported and ignored them because I ain’t got time for that garbage.

Yeah I don’t know it feels soulless. I was excited about it when I first heard it but how they are actually managing it is blah. I doubt I’ll actually get more than like 2-3 of the sets when it’s all over with but we’ll see.

I can’t put my finger on why it sucks. It just does. It feels so unfun and chore-like, I am really forcing myself to do the content for the tokens but I don’t want to do any of it. With my schedule I can rarely do it right when it comes out for the week ((and weekends are usually bad for me too)) meaning I gotta wait in long ques. Couldn’t they just drop from everything no matter what you’re doing or something?? It just feels so… argh. Not sure the transmogs are worth all this. And I haven’t done it yet, but I heard that they overtuned the raid? Their elitist hearts can’t help themselves can they lol. This is why people are being naive if they think… equalizing the ilvl between players would actually fix this game’s problems. ((I don’t want casuals and hardcore ppl to have the same ilvl I’m saying even if it did- it wouldn’t really change anything. In fact it would no doubt be worse, as they would tune the game to be even harder then.))

They messed up, the first armor should of been 30 to unlock so you can get one when the event started when everybody was playing. They also messed up with how buggy the patch was and how unbalanced all the classes are. The patch needed another week or 2 in the oven.

Overall a real missed opportunity because the raid and little events and rewards are cool but all the bugs and time gating for that first reward is kinda ruining it.

all I can say is 30 yrs, 20yrs mmo 30yr franchise and this is what they came up with? Its like workin 30yrs at a job and they give u a timex watch at retirement lol sure glad to know those billions over the yrs have been spent on talent

This was actually kind of a goofy way to do it, because it penalizes people with limited play time (or those that might arrive later to the patch). People like this will usually get less out of an event (sure) but this method actually discourages participation from these types of players… which is not something that should happen.
