Where in the tax code can I find this?
Because I’ve poked around for a bit now and all I’m seeing is that they’re able to deduct qualified contributions of up to 25% of their taxable income.
You can post the url if you put it between two ` symbols. It won’t be a hyperlink, but can still be copy/pasted.
Tax write off when you donate to charity you can claim a deduction in taxable income and companies love to get customers to assist in them claiming it.
Good Lord. Why do so many of you dedicate so much time and energy to a game you clearly hate?
What “multiple” events are you talking about?`
We have three word bosses in Tanaris and a Chromie event and BRD raid. This is nothing for a 20th anniversary, especially if you consider that Chromie only works if you have TWW and the BRD raid only gives loot if you are level 80.
Timewalking we have since years, this is not anything special or new and the Dino is 90$ in the shop, so I don´t see how you can call this a gorgeous mount.
I am glad you are having fun, but this event is just not good for long time players.
If you have many level 80 alts, maybe. But that is not the case for most players, the event is not working if you have alts below max level.
I’m glad someone said it. Everything these devs have released in the last 2 years has been less than stellar.
It’s not. It’s 40-something tokens for the first week after everything. Then you get an achievement later when you buy your first set that reduces the cost of all other sets. Then you get an achievement at 100 bronze that makes farming bronze from world bosses a daily lockout. And the event goes until January.
The sets are coming back next year. You don’t have to get everything. Take a breath, you’re going to be okay.
20% is not negligible. Especially not on top of the warband exp buff for 80s. 45% exp. And during Halloween event currently ongoing, an additional 10% on top of that.
I killed dragons on all my characters and farmed Korrak’s until I had multiple characters exalted. You are lying.
I appreciate that you dodged to ignoring the 30 mins to 2 hrs to 4, 5hrs it takes to get the buff again to, uh, “refute” the fact that it’s a temporary buff. So we get a 10% xp buff, and a temporary buff, and blizzard nurfed TW xp.
Adults judge other people based on their actions. It’s how your dad got his job. It’s how your teacher got their job. It’s how your parents formed their relationship before they divorced. It’s how I judge people in the forums. You’ll learn about this as you group up, sprout.
I made like 5 points destroying your boot-licking that misrepresents the XP gains from this event and the best you could respond was side-stepping 1 point into a non-sequitor…
I hope you understand why you are the way you are one day.
Agree they released a bugged up date had so many crashes on both computers, one being my brand new awesome gaming computer. The money grabbing 20th anniversary event , shows there serious lack of player respect; just milk the cash cow idiots with mounts pets etc. How about producing a none bugged game with balance that works? what an anniversary that would of have been.
You realize other “Anniversary events” are literally just nothing done at all, and you just got mailed a letter with a pet or something right?
Good lord you people are completely unhinged. I swear you are complaining just to complain.
This is why they don’t really do good events, because a majority of the playerbase seem to be nothing but apologists and have a hard time seeing beyond their addiction.
Why would Blizzard do anything when they have an army of mindless drones to drown out those who critique content?
People have been playing for 20 years, some have never had a lapse in sub, they can do more than an ice rink and some little mini games for achivement points.
Where are the fireworks, city celebrations, even the in game mail to just say thank you for playing our game, hopefuly enjoy for another 20?
But surely someone will just respond with Blizzard does not owe anyone anything. And unfortunately they would be right. You are playing a game made by machines for machines.
I got the mount for the meta today and I really do like it
Also love the title Karazhan Graduate %
Sucky rewards. Sucky XP. Sucky, boring event.
I cannot believe how whiny and annoying the gd community has been as of late.
First time scrolling today and its just post after post of negativity. Step away. Touch grass. Learn how to see things from different perspectives.
Its a 3 month event. You don’t need all the rewards right now, you’ll most likely get them all a month in.
Xp is insane. 4 levels a dungeon clearly isn’t good enough.
Exclusive pets. Nice armors to tmog. More things to dump our ever pooling tw tokens into.
A new raid. A ton of world bosses…
You’re right. Event bad
I preferred getting fireworks and maybe a pet in the mail
So trying to be money grabbing trash as normal by releasing bugged connect that crashes,
time gate all the rewards. Milk the cows with so called unique pets/ mounts , $90 US dollars for Auction mount? Great job should be celebrated? No you get the feedback you deserve, especially as no testing of the class updates ever took place as you would of realized what a complete joke they were.
That’s the problem.
People have already opted out at 20, 30, 40 coins depending how much extra time they were able to invest in this nonsense.
People have already checked out. OP is the majority.
Yeah, I’ve got 20 so and would love to be able to log in and grind out tokens some how. I’d love to collect transmogs but I’m at the point in my life where if I have to wait to play a game I’m going to go play or do something else. See you guys next major patch.
Also, I’ve had several loose groups of 6-10 people get face wiped by the outdoor dragons. They need major tuning for when nobody can be arsed to kill them.
You have 3 months, that’s 90 days to farm tokens. If you cannot sum up enough time to do weekly’s that take less than 2-3 hours you may as well just quit the game. What at that point are you even doing in wow?
Can I have your gold?
They say they are quitting and unsubbing due to lack of content, blizzard releases content, and then it’s I don’t have enough time to participate in that, I’m unsubbing. At this point blizzard doesn’t care, everyone playing the game still isn’t going to leave.
Uhhh. Well. Let’s see. To get the original Long Boi now you compete against others that have 10m gold. You would have needed roughly 5 WoW tokens to get it back in the day, so the original Long Boi was worth roughly 100$.
So your math is pretty off. Plus the new one has a mailbox attached, so it’s actually probably better than the original in that aspect as well.
Now, onto your other bad take, opinion, whatever you want to call it. Blizzard is a business. Let’s not think otherwise, don’t kid yourself. They exist to make money, especially at this point. The game company isn’t owned by the original people. That being said, when the servers came up early, it should have been no surprise that things were buggy. Not my fault, not yours, that in itself is Blizzard’s fault.
If you don’t find the game fun, cut your sub and stop playing. Speak with your wallet, since that’s what’s going to change their mind. You don’t like something? Complaining on the forum won’t do anything. Am I a fan boy? Nah, I just look at things realistically.
You have made yourself mad because…I don’t know why you did that to yourself. I won’t manufacture the reason in my head, since I don’t know you. If your mad and pissed, well, unsub. Staying subbed just means they don’t need to listen to any of your feedback. For all your bluster and anger, your still handing over that cash.
Is that unfair? No. Uncharitable? Again, no. I don’t like that a live service game has a cash shop. Everything on there should be earnable in game, be it a grind or a gold sink. But again, it’s just a trend in the industry at this point.
Tell me the last game that you purchased since the pandemic that didn’t have anything buggy at launch that’s around the size and scale of WoW. I’ll wait.
