I tried mythic+, i despise them, I hate them, I will never step foot in them. I tried Visions, i despise them I hate them, i hate them they are horrific, i will never step in another. What makes blizzard think I will like the next timed content they bring out? If it is timed I will despise it and never do it period.
I’ll probably give up at this point as you and others are entirely missing my point.
But because I’m a stubborn old twit I’ll say it once more - I am not talking about how well it works, I am talking about the change being made AT ALL and them saying we shouldn’t talk about it. Yes, they want input on how it works - just not on it being included at all.
But if I can’t make that clear, I’m not very good at this writing this, I guess.
Do not play the game, let them lose money and be done with it.
Yea, that’s just false and people need to stop spreading this false information. Visions have a hard timer: sanity. Torghast does not.
A timer is a timer.
That isn’t false information.
Okay. I’m going to come off as pedantic and troll like, but I really don’t mean to be. However, spiders aren’t poisonous. They’re venomous. At least in the context that you mean.
Also, I do think that first hand experience is always going to be the best judge, but we can use similar past experiences to make informed guesses.
However, Blizzard can decide that they only want Alpha testers to give feedback on Alpha content. That’s their right.
I mean it would be a valid statement should players be allowed access to the content.
But when so much of the content is not accessible to the majority of the playerbase it’a a pretty rough statement.
Like yeah, we would give experienced feedback were we able to access the content, give us access and then we can get back to you. But while half a hundred people are the only people who have access we are going to speculate and discuss it.
Blizzard calls it timed content. You actually gonna disagree with them?
Sorry but in this case, Blizzard is correct. They can’t listen to people on the forums that aren’t actually play testing it. They aren’t saying you can’t discuss it, but they can’t just change or cut things because people with literally no experience with it might read something on a website and automatically know that it sucks.
Yeah that really does go against their “mission statement” of past and the reason for the existence of these forums.
Its really disrespecting their paying customers.
I’m just gonna throw this out there.
Of course you don’t need to be bitten by a spider to know if you enjoy it, there have been plenty of documented experiences of people who have been. Because of this you can now properly voice your opinion on it, with the knowledge that being bitten by a spider can/will be a bad thing.
Rofl, no it’s not. They have a separate Alpha forum for a reason.
No, I get what you’re saying. But here’s the problem.
You are saying X is a bad thing. X should not exist in the game in any form.
They are saying “well, what about in situation Y? It might improve the gameplay experience in that specific situation.”
“No, X is universally bad and should never be implemented in any form.”
“But we’re talking about X in situation Y. How do you know X is bad in situation Y if you have not tried situation Y?”
“X is always bad. My opinion is just as valid as someone who has tested situation Y.”
See why that’s not constructive?
They have stated that it has no hard timer, so yes, I disagree with that misinformation.
Not all of their customers have access to alpha though.
I would like to have my opinions, as a paying customer, considered as well, but it won’t because I’m not in the alpha.
The thing is, a lot of us not in the Alpha have already tested these same mechanics and know exactly how they feel. It’s not like they have never had stacking time based debuffs and buffs. They have, so I know exactly how they feel, which means I know exactly how they will feel in Torghast without ever having done it.
Kind of the point.
Kind of the point.
Patch 8.3 visions was tested by millions of players. They even did a forum poll.
Blizz either takes the feedback or they can retreat back to their ivory towers of twitter to sulk in their royal purple fluff pillows.
The choice is their own but I would advise to avoid a repeat of BFA that they listen to feeback this time from everyone not just the testers IMVHO.
Cool but what does that have to do with what I said?
I’m seriously considering quitting the game at this point. It doesn’t feel like there’s a place for those of us who want a more easy going, untimed experience in this game anymore. No one cares about those who aren’t hyper-twitchy gamers.
