It’s literally the first comment I quoted from you, lmao

And yet the first comment I can find from you in this thread is one that’s completely dismissive of the OP and boils it down to whining.
We can agree to disagree.
None of this even matters. If I take it that way then it’s a valid reaction considering even
Said gear would qualify.
I did read it, I can’t find answer to my question. If you are sincere, you won’t have any issue pointing out the answer. I don’t think I will get an answer though.
If you’re seriously getting upset over saying you’re being daft or intellectually dishonest then you really are being a Karen.
Nothing in that isn’t being civil.
Hmm based on the fact that I said “another” post by Frosty anyone with basic intelligence would see that this wouldn’t be my first conversation with the OP which means there is already a history.
That explains why you missed it completely.
Doesn’t matter. OP was civil in his post and articulated his points well. Your “beef” with him doesn’t warrant being a jerk every time his threads pop up. The civil thing to do would be to leave it alone if you had nothing nice to say. This thread had nothing to do with you, and you decided to come in anyways and make derogative remarks.
You just came in, insulted him, and then went about your business doing the same thing with other people. Your first interaction with someone on the council was to call their post a joke and that you don’t take them seriously when they were nothing but civil and weren’t even talking to you in particular.
So please spare me the semantics argument. You are grasping the littlest justification you can for your attitude and it’s pathetic. How you’ve managed to go so long without being banned from the forums is kind of outstanding.
Why does it not matter?
You’re right it doesn’t matter. I never said he wasn’t civil in his opinion. What I said is still true.
If you really can’t read. I never called his post a joke. I said his opinion is why the council it’s considered a joke by the majority of people.
The irony of your hypocrisy considering the insults you were making while trying to be the innocent one.
You literally got your feelings hurt over me saying you were being daft or intellectually dishonest.
And you can drive faster on a track than a road. Doesnt make it worth doing more than once or twice.
No matter how many times you repeat this, it doesnt make it true.
Which part? Want to make sure I’m not saying something out of context.
Depends on your driving ability.
Even so, the enjoyment doesn’t matter because that’s subjective. The fact that matters is that it is there.
Wrong. Something “there” but unenjoyable is not worth doing, so it does not count as “there”.
Grasping at straws again. Calling him a joke, calling his post a joke, calling the council a joke, however you want to swing it, you are still making a derogative mark towards him.
There’s no hypocrisy here. You weren’t being civil so I reacted to your comments accordingly.
Please keep arguing, though. It’s quite entertaining watching your argument fall apart.
False. Something you don’t enjoy doesn’t mean someone else doesn’t enjoy it.
Enjoyment is subjective. I don’t enjoy pet battles but I don’t pretend the content doesn’t exist because some people do.
There is plenty of solo content in the game. You not liking it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
Not grasping at anything. I can have an opinion of the council or any council members position.
You’re nitpicking like a Karen.
I was being civil with you. You’re the one who got offended over nothing.
If content is not fun and also not rewarding, it may as well not be there.
If the content is avoided (where possible) due to unfun gameplay and unappealing rewards, that means all the time and money spent making that content was wasted.
A good example of this for me is most world quests in Shadowlands. The days of “kill Mr. Convenient” and “Shell Game” wq’s being abundant are behind us since Shadowlands. There’s a short list of WQ’s I am willing to engage with, and even then only in specific circumstances.
A single world quest that wants me to kill 20 mobs, pick up 10 mcguffins, and kill an elite boss can go pound salt in most cases. A wq that wants me to do a single puzzle, or kill a single elite mob, or pick up 10 mcguffins, or do a short (and subjectively fun) mini-game like the “Flight School: Up and Away”, “Race Day”, and “Light Defense” wq’s, I am more likely to do. And I am confident Blizzard’s metrics (not that we’ll ever see them) for how many people skip the less convenient wq’s would show it’s a lot more than just me who eschews them.
My point being, a ton of content for this or that type of playstyle means nothing, if the players don’t engage with it due to finding it unenjoyable and unrewarding.
With that said, in Blizzards defense, I will say that I find the concept behind the cypher system promising. A system that makes rewards scale upwards to the point of normal raid ilvl is appealing to me and had me actually take alts to Zerith Mortis. It’s far and away superior to how they tried to do it in Korthia (which I hardly touched at all with my alts because there was no point - it wasn’t fun, and it certainly wasn’t rewarding enough for the investment).
The cypher system is not perfect, but if the concept carries forward into 10.0, and isn’t made a soul crushing grind (like Archivist Codex), then I would have some hope for the next expansion.
I don’t think pet battles are fun or rewarding.
They still exist.
Fun is subjective and you have to be a real selfish individual if you think just because you don’t find it fun it doesn’t exist.
You wish. Mockery just makes people think about the emotional age and lack of ability for constructive discussion of the person who has chosen to mock them rather than attempt to discuss real issues.
“My verbal abuse is good for those people, because it makes them realize that I am right and they are wrong.” Nah.
Pretty much sums up my feelings.
