lol…true that!
Then you should be worried. Talent trees are a hot mess. I want to say it’s unacceptable, but at minimum it’s disappointing that a full expansion into talent trees and there’s still so many problems for some classes, not even including hero trees.
It won’t be much longer and idk how they can’t be dubbed a failure.
The alpha came out April 18th.
The beta came out June 5th.
The War Within launches August 22nd.
That’s 4 months from alpha/beta. DF and the expansions before that were 6-7 months.
I feel like this is a rush for nothing. I don’t really fancy wasting the tail end of my summer playing too much. Summer is the perfect time to idle the game a moment.
Mid sept to November is a good expansion window. Seems like common sense to me.
Miss me with you southern hemisphere people. 95% of the human population lives above the equator.
what are you worried about? 4 months or 12 months its going to have the same outcome. blizzard will release a buggy mess that will require a bunch of work to fix. its how it always goes. you would think after xpac after xpac of this happening people would be use to this
We can’t even play on the beta because of two bad builds back-to-back.
A lot of class feedback is ignored.
There’s still tons of client issues, class bugs, LUA errors, etc on the beta.
The DF beta was no where this bad.
see im bias when it comes to class feedback being ignored as i play a druid. all we do is get ignored. theres always going to be a mountain of bugs since theres the ones they know about and fix the ones they dont know about and fix when found and then the ones that they just flat out ignore
Has their ever been any correlation between beta length and also length of content drought vs the quality of the next expansion?
This expansion is adding no real features…
It’s basically just a bloated patch.
A missed opportunity to max holiday sales and when more people tend to be indoors in the northern hemisphere.
I don’t see how you can conclude that the warbands bank isn’t a feature; its awesome. Currency transfer and a couple other small things are cool enough too, but the warband bank will be a great QOL improvement for me, and many of those I know.
We will find out if it can provide what a normal expansion can do or it is a mini expansion/glorified patch.
remember they work on the next expansion during the current expansion, so by the time we started dragon flight they already had the template for the war within… no its not being rushed… that a very old argument and its not valid. im sure they have a part of midnight expansion already in place… and maria hamilton stated they have already the template for midnight and the last titan… and they a re working on them simultaneously.
I hardly using my bank now so i could care less about a " joint bank"
Just because it is not useful to you, doesn’t imply that its not a feature. And a feature that many people will make great use of… so much so that there are people complaining about the price of the last, most expensive tab of that bank. They intend to buy all the tabs… and fill them. I’ll probably only buy three or so, but I expect my wife will buy them all, and fill them all with alacrity!
I noticed the same thing
At first glance, the only “new” feature is Warbands - since the hero talents are basically just extra talent points
Oh and Earthen “don’t count” in my view considering they are just another Dwarf with a fresh paintjob
They should give us a mission table at least, if I had beta I would be in beta forums asking for that to come back
Other than delves and warband
It’s so much more than a “joint bank.”
But just because you aren’t interested in it, doesn’t mean it’s not a new feature.
I guess some people value it a lot while others see it as low value.
Just depends.
Bro geekin over bank tabs is the exact reason we’re getting nothing in this expansion.
Impressed by bank tabs being added in 2024
I have to agree it should be a nice consolation prize but not really a major feature to be excited about.
