Blizzard deviated from the source material long enough to write rule of cool garbage to placate people who think every part of the story should be like a certain over-hyped HBO fantasy show because a bunch of marketing pencilpushers ‘figured’ it was a good idea. What you are suggesting is in most cases antithetical the Warcraft lore. So yes I am opposed to it, because it’s a bad set of ideas rooted in really old tropes that Blizzard initially deviated with when they made night elves etc. Night Elves are distinct from Tolkien style ‘wood elves’ and I like it that way. If you want a ‘day elf’ you’ve already rolled the right toon.

I actually still have an interest in panning out these ideas despite your view, but you’ve decided clearly a while ago that you’re not having any of this stuff, and so now we’re just getting walls of vitriol to inhibit the conversation.

I would prefer she stay - as she is right about everything she’s just said. You’re pulling non-existent lore from thin air, have apparently zero understanding of even nature vs arcane magics and origins, proposing races that are in diametric opposition to the entire Nature theme currently in the game, and I could go on.
I’m glad she’s here…but then again you would undoubtedly prefer I leave as well. Sorry, not happening.

That part really doesn’t matter in the long run.

Truth will out and that which encompasses all is ultimately Void, thus the feminine nature inherently wins out.
I’m being argued with about schools of magic that I’m quite familiar with in the waking world but which have been sort of polluted, misunderstood or wrongly implemented in the game in a way that doesn’t necessarily reflect reality.
That said, ‘The Void’ is already coming and there’s nothing you or anyone can do to stop it.
The real ‘Earth Mother’ has already won out.
That’s the reality.
All that aside, if you’re just here to tear apart ideas you don’t like why don’t you just go play some BFA?

This post makes no sense…
First off, we are mining Azerite that has already fractured the earth and exposed itself. ‘Collecting’ would be closer to what we are doing than actively mining.
Second…We don;t need a new Elf race to put in that faction… that’s what night elves are.
