^ Title. I think there was a double DH in the tourney once. Double fire mages sense since the class literally has the most damage and utility in the entire game along with no weakness when running triune

Well on streams I’m seeing double pally and double priest teams.

In my opinion, when you start doubling up classes, theres a serious issue with balance.

I hope so, that way they bring arcane and frost in line with fire that way Blizzard wakes up and smell the coffee to seeing the disparity between the mage specs.

i think the tourneys gunna be dominated by classes that can extend games (Hpal, Arms)

what is the gearing for the tournament? is it just whatever people have earned on live? or will competitors have access to full upgraded sinful conquest gear?

I think their comp is just better suited to win in a meta like this too. Unless ofc there’s a really good team that can force Drake to play defensive and get cheesy setups for a potential one shot. These guys are arguably one of the best defensive players after observing their gameplay from BFA, so might possible be a very tough task for opposing teams to capitalize on.

I honestly think Hpal/WW/Fire mage is going to dominate the tourny.

Although in the back of my mind I think that aff/ele/hpal or disc might be a sleeper comp and take it.

But I will say it’s actually incredibly troll that they can get that high as that comp

Only team that could maybe do that is jahmillis team since they’re the only team with 2 r1 mages but there’s almost 0 way they’d play that into anyone rofl

Looking at the details breakdown of that twitch one shot Xaryu got an instant Pyroblast crit for 26.5k followed up my multiple fireblasts going out at the same time.

This hasn’t been a thing in a long time. It was back in the day (though even then we had some double class comps) because classes brought viable buffs.

But double priest is losing out on what? 5% Stam? Doesn’t really do much anyways. And power word shield has been so gutted, in addition to the weakened soul de buff being cut it half, that it also doesn’t really matter.

Double class comps working is a bi product of game direction and less so balance issues.
