A paladin is just a priest who took up warrior skills or vice versa, its a warrior using priest skills.
Shaman and warlock are two sides of the same coin as they both deal with foreign powers as a power source, shaman deals with elemental entities and warlock deals with otherworldly entities, so it isnt crazy lorewise for them to change power sources.
Death knights were designed by the scourge to have the strength, skill of a warrior and the magics of necromancy.
So there are some lore exceptions but its within reason of the game.
There is even lore of druids using fel magic to make them feel more chaotic so they could understand the animal process better to shape shift.
Interesting. I definitely feel the âI feel like the Warrior of Lightâ component from the story perspective.
But from a gameplay perspective, identity is so present in everything you do. I think the key for me are the animations. Every characterâs animations are just so distinct and impactful that every second I spend - outside of cutscenes - as my character I am infinitely reminded of just what class I am. You canât avoid it. Thereâs just so little crossover between, say, Dark Knight, Paladin, Gunbreaker, and Warrior as tanks. Sure theyâre all soaking damage, but from the dark auras of the Dark Knighjt to the shining wings of the Paladin defense cooldown⌠every moment of gameplay drives home that fantasy of what your class is.
i mean i basically i dont
i dont even play final fantasy i got it ff remake 7 for free and i think the story is bland and the game is overall boring but i can see the appeal so i doubt i will be into ff 14
but there are some things wow can take from final fantasy to make it a better game and vice versa
it doesnt have to clone to exact but there are few things both can do for a better gaming experience overall
some of best games on market took ideas from other likewise franchises
You really failed to see the point up there, huh? Introducing âlore-breakingâ race/class combinations has literally no impact on a culture at large because, by definition, the players are exceptional individuals who break the mold. Weâre literally âthe chosen onesâ in half of the expansionâs stories. There is actually nothing stopping a troll from going to learn how to be a demon hunter. Thereâs nothing preventing a tauren from picking up a âHow to Magicâ book and going to Dalaran. Thereâs nothing keeping a pandaren away from Moonglade. Would they be rare? Absolutely. Night Elf Mages and Demon Hunters also should be rare, but its not like Blizzard puts a cap on how many players can play something.
there is tons of non characteristic things wow can take from final fantasy that is in other modern mmos because it makes sense lol
im not saying basically clone the game
I donât know who else has heard of this game, but Free Realms had this system. We all had one character and like, 12 classes to shuffle through. It was a mini wow in a sense. I miss that game tho, RIP to it shutting down
Just gimme night borne druids and DHâs and Iâll be happy. cries in leveling a DH in legion zones and the NB storyline
Yep. Different strokes for different folks. Fortnite does nothing for me, but I can appreciate that there is a market for it. And furthermore, I can appreciate that other people enjoy it. And thatâs okay.
There are some races that are just physically incapable of being certain classes. Void elves can not be paladins. Draenei who start using fel, stop being Draenei and become Eredar.
There are significant differences with deals and contracts made with elementals and those made with demons. Any similarities that warlock and shaman might have stop at creating contracts.
Two expansions ago we saw what happens to Eredar once they start using fel. They become violent/evil. There are no fel wielding Draenei.
Goblins are masters when it comes to making contracts in their favor, and those contracts lead to profits they donât care about any side effects/consequences.
Using fel corrupts the user, elemental powers donât. Thatâs just one of the major aspects that sets the two power sources apart. The methods for contacting demons differ significantly to the methods of contacting spirits and elementals.
It isnt helping the sitiuation that you just want to impose a class exception just because messiah.
Player characters are an extension of that races beliefs and or practices, not the other way around.
So yeah, a tauren isnt just going to be the odd one out and completely forsake hos culture to read a magic book.
I am not saying they cant be, i am saying the current sitiuation and lore is saying it isnt going to happen unless its a grim totem, which is known to have mages and warlocks.
