But then you get kicked from groups for not doing damage as a healer. WDYM? Have you not met this insane community?
The insane community that uses hyperbole to make their point?
Never heard of her.
Personally, I have not kicked anyone because they canât be replaced in keys, but I am happier with healers who throw a sunfire into big packs if they can. If they donât dps, but they keep me alive, thereâs no problem. If they donât dps and I have 5+ slow deaths in a run, I wonder why theyâre there but Iâm not rude about it.
RIP brewmaster monks, they canât turn off stagger. Just donât drink brews?
I know youâre trying to be helpful but youâre not.
Most of them have no issues or problems in real life. They make up scenarios in their head and wake up every day to find new ways to become a victim of something, patriarchy, sexism, racism, and any kind of phobia you can name so they attach themselves to the label and gain sympathy from others, especially on the internet mental asylum known as Twitter.
The best course of action to deal with those people is to ignore them, to them, attention is the drug they crave, and even hatred turns them on. But apathy, on the other hand, will most likely silence them for a time until their drug craving returns.
too much netflix.
Agreed. Itâs the opposite of personal responsibility, and they feed off of ppl who re-enforce their ideas.
Not sure where this came from, but when Iâm on my druid and healingâŚI heal. I donât dps, unless Iâm qued as dps in dps form. In tree formâŚI heal. Nothing more or less.
Dmg is the job of the dps.
I was taught to use correct grammar. They/them is plural. If Iâm talking about a group of players or mobs, then yes, they or them would be correct. I will not use improper grammar if I can help it. I refer to a person by name. If there is a question about the sex, I will just use the name.
Iâm not planning to change. In game, I refer to either the chosen name or sex of the character. I never assume anything about the person behind the keyboard. Same here on the board. You choose a female character, I will refer to you as a she or by your name⌠same for a make character.
/peace
That would be just fine. As a matter of fact, some people just say âhey man, howâs it going?â I just go on with a normal conversation. I donât correct that person as I donât get offended. Converse with others, make friends, and stop being so dang offended by pronouns. People will enjoy your company a lot more. Strange society weâre living in right now.
Rita,
I agree. I donât know that Iâve ever really used pronouns when talking to people in the game. I will either use their name, or their class.
Allow us to make custom pronouns. Its only fair
They need to let us mix and match between typical gender norms in the appearance tabs too. I have a rather masculine jawline but I need to combine that with female-esque breasts. My wrists are actually pretty fem as well, but I havenât had the re-assignment surgery yet so I need the male bulge.
Imagine if nobody replied to Talonâs army of troll accountsâŚ
Is it me, but I find it weird to refer to 1 person as they/them.
They/them is what I would say if there was a group of people.
When I read a book, it doesnât use they/them to refer to a single person.
I am so sick of pronouns for everyone, I call you as I see you.
Uh, yea its weird. The only time i say they, is if Iâm talking about somebody and say âthey did thisâ, or along the same vein. Not literally say âthey pass me the ketchupâ. Donât feel guilty and bullied to not admit what doesnât feel right.
I get called âHey Shamanâ all the time, so this tracks.
Dude is gender neutral so I vote all npcs call us dude from now on.
Good grief Blizzard yâall can refer to me however you want if it shuts the âthey/themsâ up FFS
