I mean, I’m not invested either way but much less believable things happen every day. If the kid really wants to play the game this could just be their compromise for all online games. I have no idea. Could be fake, could be a situation with more going on than we know. /shrug
I always vote no unless the player is a complete jerk.
Maybe if Blizzard implementing a system whereby:
- an initial box is shown to all players stating who initiated the kick and the reason
- an objection box for any player(s) to object to the kick and stating their reason
- after a short delay, players could then vote
I admire this kid’s dedication to their parents just as much as I’m angry at the jerk who kicked them out of the group.
Let me guess, the one who kicked them was from the gaming realms Ragnaros/Quel’Thalas/Frostmourne?
Nice (and honorable) of you to help the kid out. Salutations.
Blatant lie.
Thats what I do. I vote no when I don’t see the problem.
I have had that happen to me in dungeons and raids. Someone calling me out for low dps in raid chat, when its clear I am the healer. Then suddenly getting removed from group. Followed by an apology whisper and a re-invite to the group of which I ignore and decline. If you as a raid leader cant control your assists from just absentmindedly booting someone over a random comment, I dont have the time or energy to raid with you.
the title alone is wild lmao
Nah most 14 year olds probably would have cussed me out themselves.
Yes WOW has a lot of toxic players, I’ve come across a lot.
Maybe LOL has a more toxic community I don’t know.
I’m sure some folks won’t even understand this…
I was in a leather/chitin farming group {because Bliz destroyed cloth farming} and was having a blast. Over time I was the only original player. the 4 new players were all from the same guild and realm {sargeras}. They openly accused me of being a bot and when I denied it they said that is what a bot would say and kicked me… Now when I see any groups from that realm farming I make sure I join in so I get can my stolen leather back.
votes to kick the holy priest
Reason: “No interrupts.”
“Holylazers has been removed from the party.”
People with only basic casual experience should be prohibited from influencing other players. If someone doesn’t know the game mechanics, they shouldn’t have the right to kick anyone.
I know it’s patch day but come on now.
which would encompass like 99% of the playerbase.
don’t believe everything your read on the internet, folks
Works for me. Require CE to initiate a vote kick in normal dungeons.
I’d recommend his parents make him a macro that he can press 1 button at the beginning of a run to let people know he’s not allowed to talk.
