Reread your own posts, that is anything less than genuine.
They are attacks that mimic a post that was formatted in the exact same way as a post beforehand, asking me to reclarify myself, I while end the discussion.
Meer minutes later you come out of nowhere with the same formatting.
Your questions are insults to avoid moderation. If you water them down they are unkind.
I’m not looking for agreement, I’m looking for civility.
And more importantly you are asking for clarification that has already been given.
I have told you, I am not interested in having a discussion with you, nor repeating myself.
Take it or leave it, you have nothing to prove to me.
if you aren’t willing to clarify vague statements you wre not here for a discussion.

Twink in game terms was orgininally used for the level 19 bracket because of the double entendre

Reading comprehension is not the issue here. Troll harder guy.
“Twink” sure has changed over the years.
In the 80s it meant something entirely different and had nothing to do with video games…around here at least lol

Wait, you had specific questions you wanted to discuss? So instead of directly asking those questions, you use a provocative title that has nothing to do with the subject matter you actually wished to discuss?
This thread should be deleted based on that alone if you are unwilling to edit the title. It’s disingenuous at best, pretty silly at best. You aren’t looking for a conversation, you APPEAR to either be trolling, trying to seem smarter than you are (lots of people do or are like this), or your stubbornness knows no bounds. It’s also possible I suppose, that your title was for something else?
Honestly, there’s no substance to your argument in the first place. Both games you are arguing about are fantasy games set in generic worlds. Neither game is unique compared to what is out there. Destiny is simply a fantasy game with guns. WoW is simply high fantasy. Do the development teams borrow from each other, or are they simply taking from the same pool of ideas to save time and costs? Activision Blizzard is, at the end of the day, a company. It’s here to make money. Been doing so for 30 years.
If it were a start up and doing this, that would be different. You’d not get the push back on that front. But artists sharing visions or having similar enemies isn’t anything new. Tolkien elves versus the elves of today, for example. Tolkien elves were versatile and didn’t just rely on bows as main weapons. The elves of the Shannara series were closer to Tolkien elves as well, as the main elves have bows, but most are shown as sword masters. But look at most elves of today: bow masters that crumple when in melee, unless they are written agile enough. But do we get mad at authors for that today? Not really.
You obviously don’t know what twink means. It describes the dynamic between a younger person (low level alt) and their older providing partner (main). It has often been used to describe gay relationships of that sort but the dynamic is what the word is describing. If most players were girls, they’d call them baby’s after the term sugar baby.
I think you skipped these, OP.

I think you are grasping at straws getting mad at a game jargon used for 20 years.
Players started calling purposefully geared level 19/29/39/etc characters twinks since Vanilla, Blizzard just ran with it.
It’s relation with a type of LGBTQ men is non-existent.
I’m glad i didn’t spend money on this bot or i’d be demanding a refund.
CROISSANT TACO RECIPE
Pass me one of those , I’m getting a headache trying to remember if anyone was raging about the RL term for twink being used since I swear that as long as the forums have been up no one batted an eye because it was another term for “alt” and that was it.
There’s stilll plenty in the LGBTQ plus community that use the term to this day.

What do you mean? No I created a post that had no basis or reasoning with the goal to infuriate the community. Why else would someone post on the forums?
That was sarcasm by the way
Obviously there was a reasoning for including the title to describe something that could have swayed blizzards demographic data without a second thought, as an example. Instead of directly asking those questions I was hoping to find someone curious enough who could see where I was coming from and ask those questions.
Why is it so important to you that I change something written creatively instead of bluntly pandering to the audience that might not be there?
I was looking for a conversation and it was no where to be found, Instead I got a bunch of reply’s from people who want things easily handed to them without a second thought.
There is substance to my argument and you fail to see it. To claim that Activison-Blizzard does not specifically use market research data to provide what they believe to be the best product to market to a mass audience is optimistic at best. Yes they have creative freedom but within a bounds.
This shouldn’t be the case and the market research shouldn’t dictate the content the artists wish to provide. That is the fundamental point that i tried to make during this discussion and not contained within a neat and tidy forum post for everyone to read at their pleasure. Its meant to make you think its meant to make you question your reasoning, Just the sheer fact that all of you are willing to participate in a conversation that all of you find no meaning in points to the fact that it has meaning.
Or do you all just consume product that you don’t enjoy?
I think you’ll notice I’ve also said that sharing is not the problem here but i did enjoy your last paragraph.
Oh when I first started playing WoW and people were calling themselves Twinks I was like, “Okay, WoW people .” Then I found out what that was about and started selling them my gear drops. I still gave them a bit of the side eye.

Ah you’re right good catch, Thanks.
Which came first, ‘twink’ or ‘twinkie’?
I had to have this discussion with my mother when she decided that when babies were crying, they were wanking. It started with my kid brother who is 9 years younger than me, so there I was at 10 years old having to tell my mom what wanking actually was.

So in short, you aren’t here to have any level of coherent conversation and you’re just trolling by rambling about vague nonsense and then pretending to be offended when someone asks you to clarify what you mean. Got it.
