A lot of us here have built great friend groups and want to see that continue, however that being said this is the one game that we all have in common and we’re spread out across several continents like most, so I 100% understand the frustrations when Blizz drops the ball (or nukes it).
They asked for the Mage tower to return for the artifact weapon appearances. They did not give what was asked for.
This is a combination of poor design decisions on blizzard’s part creating this gimme environment and most of all, covid quarantining. People have been stuck at home with limited social circles for so long that the effects of this much self isolation are starting to show more and more :< Like it’s pretty common these days for discussions to turn into debates of people just trying to ignore context to educate perceived uneducated peers about things they probably might not know but still; why should it turn into a debate at all really and isn’t educating someone even something that involves having some empathy and knowledge of the context within which the student is operating? Little things like that get ignored and the end result of that sort of interaction is everyone gets crabby and more unhappy despite nobody really being inherently bad to begin with. The hope is that covid is just about almost over though and things normalize more as people are able to employ their free time well…in freer ways lol
We can certainly hope.
Honestly, this was literally the worst time to drop MT - between holidays, end of year for people who work, end of semester for students, 9.2 soon out… people want to complete the challenge but not everyone has time to go gather old gear, do 200 pulls with long loading screens and RP, and farm BfA herbs… and knowing it’s not gonna be back for a loooong time makes it a lot worse. I already did MT on my mage, but I wish they made it more alt friendly and survivable… I could barely scrape together a leech set to do this because how else do you heal as a mage
Excellent point. It really is.
Why do you keep saying you beat it when you don’t have the achievement for beating it?
Why can’t a multi billion dollar company ever just test and release good content? Thats all people ask for. Good content that they can do. The point of a challenge is that its hard, but then you still finish it.
Honestly it’s just not worth the hassle. I wish They would have not bothered to bring the tower back at all, instead produce meaningful content that is enjoyable.
If they had to bring it back just put in a escalating buff just like in RFA so that the community will eventually complete it in the two week span. Give an achievement for folks that complete it without the buff, everyone’s happy ----Done.
Plz no more achievements
Unpopular opinion, if you dying in mage tower is cuz you bad and it’s just easier to blame the game. The difficulty is on point from what I remember it was on release and should not be nerfed, blizzard should remove the fact that is tied to legion TW, this is a really crappy limitation. Otherwise get good baddies.
Come back and talk to me on your level 60 with achive. Without conduits mage has 0 healing. Barrier and AT are just damage prevention but not healing. The challenge is aids without leech. And having to min max gear from 3 expansions and heirlooms is annoying…
Piecing together the best and brighest from previous expansions to make a custom timewalking set has been a major selling point for timewalking since it first launched.
How dare you use this name and not be vulpera xD
Yes, you are. You don’t even care about MT by your own admission, you have not even tired it. That is dishonest and disingenuous.
At this point you have proven you are flat out trolling.
So then hush. Your opinion is irrelevant. You have not ever tried it and have shown you have no desire to do so.
Idk what you are talking about. I always just blasted through TW in whatever I had …
UwU especially for this I made a vulpera warrior and named her Apologyvideo
Well, a lot of the dungeons have been repeatedly nerfed because people kept coming to the forums over the years and complaining “timewalking is too hard!” and so Blizzard kept nerfing everything.
Meanwhile, people who built custom timewalking sets were steamrolling timewalking dungeons from the start.
Instead of nerfing timewalking over and over again so that lazy players could skirt by with no effort, they should have increased the difficulty so that people needed to take advantage of timewalking’s #1 feature.
Should not exist to begin with.
