Sure its great looking but its BS to force Retail to have to buy the pet outside of the sub package …I am still on 12 month package so I’ll get the mount right off in Retail cause my sub isn’t up till Oct 2025.

Question: what did they do again except give us a random mount if we use a 6- or 12-month subscription?
We get a mount via that every so often, that’s not unusual. When has any pet been associated with it on retail ever?
I’m looking at the list and the pets have always been associated with Classic.
So… what’s the issue, what is it that they “did it again” except doing the same thing that they have been doing for 7-ish years now?

I think those of us who pay a 12 month sub should get all the stuff for retail since we’re better than everyone else because we can afford to pay the lump sum up front. And also a mount of our choosing as well.

I have a 12 month sub and I haven’t received mine yet. Anybody in the same boat?
Update: I got it. You need to look in your b-net launcher for a present icon. You click it and it gives you the mount and pet as a ‘gift’. It takes quite a few hours for these things to go through first, though.

I think those of us who use gold to play the game should get a new mount every day, since we’re better than everyone else because we don’t use any money to play the game.

I’m still over here wishing they’d stop doing promo bundles with different collectibles between Classic and Modern. Anything from a bundle should be available in both, like they did with the MoP Classic bundle.

For ya’ll who are waiting for yours, give it some time. Sometime it can take a couple of minutes to hours, but if it starts taking days … I don’t quite remember but I believe you are meant to submit a ticket, notifying that you haven’t received yours (as sometimes people slip between despite being eligible).
These things happen every so often and folks make posts about it quite frequently whenever there’s a 6-month mount when that happens. Just give it some time and if that doesn’t do it, submit a ticket.
I logged in classic last week and i had the revin pack pet from retail over there…
It usually takes some time. I have not seen any out in the world yet so I assume Blizzard is still doing their thing server side for the subs to get the mount.
I don’t know what it is but there is just something about pets and mounts being available in classic that weren’t part of the game when it was current that just doesn’t sit right with me. Season of Discovery sure that mode is build for that stuff, but not Classic.
It doesn’t feel right, it’s not the classic experience seeing a mount or pet that didn’t exist back then.

Eh, by now Classic in general isn’t the classic experience. Have you seen how many changes have been made just for MoP Classic compared to when it originally released?

Yeah if you want the pet in Retail you have to pay an extra $10 bucks for it from the game shop…its a BS move really to do this over and over …

I despise all 6 month sub packages because they don’t offer them for buying 6 months of game time as well.
NO it doesn’t this pet was never part of the Original MoP now, their so called Classic is NOT Classic at all …its a hyped up product to bring back older players that like those past expansions …don’t get me wrong now…MoP is when real Pet Battling began but this pet was never in the Original MoP.
I didn’t even know the pet was also in the store for retail
That actually makes it so much worse, I thought it was classic restricted entirely
Something else that’s bugged me about the Classic/Modern split is that even when both versions get the same collectible, they’re called different things for some reason. Why wouldn’t they both just have the same name if they’re intended to be the same thing and the two versions are never going to share collections with each other?
