And maybe you should learn what words mean. Premade LITERALLY means making your team BEFORE you queue. You can continue to throw out that misnomer all you like but it doesn’t make it true.
A quick look at your posts has shown me what a toxic poster you are. 80% of your posts are insulting someone.
You come off as a really healthy and happy person /s.
I don’t disagree with you about that, but there’s a real problem when alliance pugs are undermanned in most BGs because the quality players aren’t playing with them.
And of course my point is much more about WSG/AB/EOTS.
I wish I’d been recording my data, but I’m pretty sure I’ve been running a 60-70% win rate on ABs/WSG/EOTS the past week (on a big sample size) and I’ve been only solo queuing. That’s unbalanced and those maps should be close to even (maybe not AB as much since it is a horde tilted map).
AV we all know is broken as hell (and until the premades came back I hadn’t lost an AV since before pre-TBC; probably was on a 70-100 win streak).
At this rate it seems the only thing that will satisfy some folks lust for PVP is to just automatically queue all alliance players for all BGs upon logging in.
The alliance players will be forced to have an hour of PVP quota per day to ensure satisfaction amongst the ranks of the Horde.
I mean, we do exist solely to ensure the red team is happy, right?
Does that somehow vindicate you posting from a place of toxic intellectual dishonesty?
I have little patience for people who preach to other players while not being qualified to do so.
Your exact entry into this thread was telling all of us how a healer is doing someone a favor….by doing their job.
If it’s toxic to tell you that since you don’t play a healer and are here to do nothing more than troll; fine. I’m toxic.
It doesn’t detract from the fact that bad healers being bad and not healing hunter pets is just them not doing their job.
I read the edited post first, so everyone complaining sounded illiterate. Haha.
It is NOT cheating. Tacky and cheap? Yeah probably, but NOT cheating.
Guys step back! we got a badasss over here! … HES COMPLETED KARA WOIWOWOW!!!
Which is the same as telling people to turn on Voice Chat. That’s the irony in all of this.
There are also around a dozen AV discords and they have existed for literally years. People are only crying now because a forum troll stirred them up.
It’s ok… just ignore him like I have. The guy has yet to show proof he has any pvp experience. And gets on me for having an opinion… yet he acts like he is the second coming of god when it comes to healing. lol
- Use of Discord and other VOIP are not “methods not expressly authorized by Blizzard”
- Use of Discord and other VOIP do “influence gameplay”
- Use of Discord and other VOIP do not “facilitate gameplay”
- Use of Discord and other VOIP are not in-game bugs, so cannot be exploited as such
- Use of Discord and other VOIP do “grant … an advantage over other players not using” them
However, the clause requires METHODS for any of the rest to apply. You must first utilize a METHOD that is not expressly authorized by Blizzard, and so you’re out of luck on Discord itself being a “cheat” according to the EULA.
The exact same analysis applies to “Selecting a Battleground based on a specific BG Number” and “Leaving a Battleground to deliberately receive a Deserter penalty” as neither of these are “methods not expressly authorized by Blizzard.” In fact, both of these are explicitly authorized by Blizzard since they are default UI options and selections. If someone wants to join AB 15, they can pick it from the list that Blizzard provides and queue. If someone wants to leave AB 15, they can do so, freely.
Conclusion: Cauchy be trollin’ yet again.
Having read a few too many of the “but we’re friends” posts, I’ll admit that it’s a bit dramatic. It’s obviously about stomping. Anyone who thinks they have 40 friends online playing WoW must think they actually have 800 friends on Facebook.
Even for twinks, premades often mean getting steamrolled. The premade aspect is incredibly powerful, not just for strategy, but for sharing pots, buffs (esp world buffs), etc. If it’s a nightmare for twinks, hold onto your seats, casuals. You’re ruined.
lol brb wintrading on BGs with all servers linked across NA
how many bgs u think are running at a time? two or three?
Your pvp experience consists of being able to reach the lofty heights of 500 rating in 5’s.
Literally anyone has more experience than you.
Dude, where in any if my posts have I said using Discord on it’s own is cheating?
Where in any of my post did I only analyze Discord?
None of the individual actions are “methods not expressly authorized by Blizzard” and their combination does not magically undo that fact. Players need not stress out that opening their mail box (Authorized Act 1) while also casting a buff on themselves (Authorized Act 2) is going to trigger the “methods not expressly authorized by Blizzard” requirement simply because they combined them.
If no part is unauthorized, the whole is not unauthorized.
So… If the math is really on your side, why not queue solo and just use the voice chat in-game?
Discord isn’t the issue. It’s not the method. It’s the tool.
Hey,
Discord use for in-game organization is not a violation of the end user license agreement as the software is expressed as authorized by Blizzard.
Using discord to promote in-game exploitation and its facilitation is cheating.
Previously, queing up/syncing up 5 man groups in order to form a pseudo-Alterac Valley premade was not regarded as exploitation or against terms of service, and I don’t believe there has been any updated precedent since.
I like queueing with friends.
I like Discord.
I don’t have to justify why I choose to do authorized actions, they’re already given a pass by Blizzard. This silly challenge you keep trying to foist on everyone is dumb because you’ve not given a single compelling reason why people should arbitrarily restrict themselves further than Blizzard demands.
The “method” can be any tool, behavior, etc. Method is incredibly broad on purpose, so method includes use of VOIP, it just so happens that VOIP is authorized so the rest of the definition becomes irrelevant.
Right, but you need some kind of in-game exploitation. Since all the underlying actions are also authorized (queuing for a specific BG, queueing as a 5man), and no unexpected or rule-breaking result occurs, its all good.
I don’t think folks in the server I got this from were friends. It was pretty clear by the chats that they were not friends. They were not even from the same server…
Would your friends really require you to verify your level, mount and trinket before letting you in the Discord? They also had strict guidelines about how to change your nickname.
If Blizzard were cool with more than 5 queueing up, I think that “Join as Raid” would be available.
