That’s literally the reason they eliminated the BG numbers, they said as much. Coordination was never a problem, the disparate impact coordination could have was, so they fixed where the impact was felt, not the coordination itself.
Distinctions matter.
PS - You still haven’t explained what anyone is doing wrong.
Typical alliance logic:
"I’m not cheating or circumventing game mechanics to gain an unfair advantage by -
Circumventing measures placed to help prevent premades vs pugs
Posting on forums defending their circumventing actions.
Stating indirectly that bgs are pointless unless they have an ‘advantage’.
Reading the above TOS, and ignoring the parts associated to their exact actions
Also, what a sad little person you need to be, to ‘need’ to have an advantage that premade vs pug exclusively brings to competitive games, and since ‘advantage’ can be subjective, I will iterate that the advantage gained by a full premade vs a pug, is incomprehensively unfair.
It would be comparable to :
a group of level 50 characters in a pug vs a group of level 70’s in a pug. That is about the same advantage gap.
Premades should only vs premades, pugs vs pugs, the health of the game and experience for the playerbase is at risk keeping it the way it currently is, and has been for too long now.
Gaining an advantage cross realm no less, via means outside of the game? Yeah, I mean its totally a valid point to make
“Why is it wrong for a faction to abuse the fact it has instant queues, and use such an advantage to bypass in game restrictions to gain a competitive advantage, whats the problem??”
What is anyone circumventing by hitting the queue button?
How is posting on the forums “gaining an unfair advantage”?
Just making up quotes now?
The EULA specifically says this is fine.
You can do this exact thing with in-game VOIP using BattleNet voice channels. You can even setup moderators and various tiers of access, the whole bit.
But even if it wasn’t accessible via BattleNet, you haven’t established why 3rd party VOIP is unlawful. Go ahead. Give it a go. Cauchy has outright abandoned trying to do so because flatly asking him a question with no extra leaves him no rabbits to chase.
This is all conclusory whinging. Don’t be a child.
“everyone in our discord ready?”
"countdown to press the queue button so we all join the same bg starts in :
“3”
“2”
“1”
“NOW!”
…
Yeah that is not at the very least making sure measures taken to prevent premades vs pugs happen.
Also, if you take some time to read alliance primarily, posts on here regarding the so called “Merc” mode where hvh, you will quickly see many quotable statements where it is said :
“Why should horde be given an advantage to play vs themselves, there is literally no reason to play as alliance anymore wahh wahhh waaahh”
So you’re just whinging. Horde tears are fun and all but if you’re just going to whine, the kid corner is over there with Cauchy’s “unfair advantage” argument.
This is entirely valid and not against the EULA.
So imagining an opponent and then getting mad that that opponent said things for you to disagree with… very nice. Not at all unhinged and lunatic…
Not at all. Can Horde, without instant queues, do the same ‘friendly coordination’ as Alliance? Is this or is it not, an advantage one side can gain that the other cannot?
If you all on discord formed a group, and pressed the “Join as group” button (intended by blizzard to prevent Premades vs pugs) you would find yourselves actually having a fair bg.
Thus, your kindred decided, hmm, lets “try this”. And yes, it does work. It allows often times your group that is a premade to use obfuscation of the queue system that is intended to prevent the outcome that you then have (the advantage) by means that blizzard has not intended the game to work that way.
This is your circumvention - it is premeditated, deliberate dirty and you know that it gains you a stupidly egregious advantage. There is your advantage gain (how pathetic you need to be to do so) and also there is the circumvention that is deliberate by you and others.
All the while enjoying short queue times, not having to try in the bg since the advantage is huge, and then when Blizzard decides to allow horde to not have hour long queues, it STILL is not enough - a lot of players from the alliance claiming “unfair advantage” that horde gets.
We are so sorry that horde vs horde disrupted your wow experience so negatively. Truly, stupendous.
You’re joining a discord. No one says you can’t queue. You can make your own group of five and have any requirement you like for that. You can make your own discord and have any requirement you like. You can require everyone be mages. Who cares?
Obfuscation of the queue system intended to work the way it is implemented in the game. You know exactly what I am saying. The methods you and others are using, does in fact trick/attempt to trick the queue system to believe you are a Pug. And match you accordingly.
Also, your guild name implies a lot about your character, hopefully there is enough to take a good long look at your and your mates behaviours so that you can CIRCUMVENT the actual queue system, and things get done about it.
