You realize that these two things don’t work together, right? If heroics were easy back then, what does our skill today have to do with anything?
Not sure how easy heroics would kill the game within the first week, but you do you.
Am I insane, or did they not say they were going to? Something along the lines of like, the better the gear you have, the harder the heroic will be?

I thought they mentioned that they were considering increasing the difficulty in heroics. For me this would be a welcome change.
Edit: Perhaps it was just Naxx now that I think about it. Regardless I’d love to see increased difficulty in all of Wrath’s dungeons, but to each their own.
The subjective portion of this is the “element of danger in dungeons” - what you consider to be risky, or dangerous, I may not, and vice-versa.
It’s only dangerous if you don’t pay attention, which I will admit is a recurring trend with players these days, but it doesn’t prove your point at all. We’re also not discussing raids.

If you wipe in Wrath heroics youre either bad, or doing giga pulls and messed up.

I can understand that after SWP and TBC in general, Blizzard had to adjust to accommodate a larger and more casual audience.

You have to understand most forum posters were 8/10 in SSC/TK and are 4/6 in SWP.
If they cant get full bis loot while barely having a monitor, then the game is far too complex for them.
So expect 90% of the ppl on these forums to want zero difficulty increase.
You’re supposed to just beat it easily. These dungeons are meant to be farmed. Not everything is mean to be challenging.
Heroics should be beaten by level 80s i agree.
They should not be incredibly simple at level 77.

In Vanilla, or in Classic? UD Strat was not dangerous in Classic.

All the bats flying around they could chain like 5 packs and you were dead instantly.
once you killed the first two bosses it was pretty free though.

There is some small element of actual danger to the dungeon. This does not exist in the heroics in wrath on launch.
If you thought strat UD was completely free in p1 classic… then youll think doing WOTLK heroics and naxx at level 80 will be like doing Wailing Caverns at 70.
I mean nothing is lethal in either of those dungeons or raids.
While that isn’t the exact comparison I would have used, yeah, that’s likely how I felt back in 2008, too.
Itll be a million times worse now. We have far better technology, knowledge, gameplay experience, and addons.
They have to buff this stuff just to keep up with the times IMO.
