Warriors got to be on top in Classic Van while Paladins were wearing cloth and healing only (ignoring the phase when they were buff bots only).
Wrath is the result of the pendulum of balance swinging hard in the other direction.
I hope your class gets buffs, but don’t bring that hate on us. Those of us who played in OG or Classic Vanilla don’t really deserve it.

Pallies were best in TBC tanking also besides 1 boss fight (Brutalis)
Pearl clutch more. The fact that Paladins are here defending these changes doesn’t hold any water with me.

And hey, if they revert the Ret buff tomorrow so be it. But I won’t be wishing ill will on warriors of any spec. Who’s the better man in this situation?
Idk our guild has paly tank warrior tank and a dk tank they swap through just fine so. This just sounds like a personal problem either you suck at tanking or you only play with people who need every single advantage possible to down anything. Sure one might be slightly better doesn’t make the rest not viable.

To Tyrmaul- I’ve tanked Ulduar, that’s not the issue.
The issue is Pallies whined for weeks about dps and they got it because ret was “So far behind”, now they won’t accept Prot pallies deserve the nerf bat for the same reason.

Sure, we made arguments, but in the end there was more at play:
Wrath was released as 3.3.5, so Ret is balanced around a Tier set bonus in ICC while we start in Naxx. This is a huge deal.
The numbers really hit over the head how large the gap was. Blizzard was aware, I suspect, for a while.
Then basically everything else Blizzard mentioned in the patch post.
Everyone is saying crying wahh wahh, but I just think Blizzard saw the mess they created and tried to fix it.
Same arguments apply for Fury warrior, your statement falls flat.
You guys cried and because paladins are overrepresented, they caved in to whining.
Take the prot pally nerf and be done with it.

Not to mention healing Pallies in 5mans is laughable compared to everyone else. Takes the least amount of damage, takes the least amount of work to hold aoe threat. Their ST threat is good now too. Such night and day difference from Pallies to any other tank. Guess low skill players need at least 1 tank class to play.
Meta isn’t the end all be all.
I guarantee there are plenty of warriors, druids and DKs out there tanking successfully.

I haven’t tanked and will never tank in classic, hell I don’t even have a lvl 80 Paladin… at the end of the day, doesn’t make what I said less true.
Successful tanking is a relative term. If a 95th percentile prot warrior can tank all of Ulduar it doesn’t justify a 35th percentile braindead Paladin tank being able to tank it just as easily.
