Are we playing the same game this is all lies, prot pallies have been the best tanks in all of tbc and continued into wotlk besides Brutallis. Literally when i heal pallies they can click 1 spell and ignore all aggro issues while druids and warrior have to actually put in some work. Have you played anything other than a pally? In og tbc and wrath this may have been true but not in classic
Lol TBC prot paladin was great but had threat issues compared to feral. You had to sacrifice too much mitigation for threat to have a chance at keeping up. Currently it is the opposite prot paladin is strong AF threat and tanky AF. Theyāre the strongest tank by far currently but in TBC they had limits. They were very goodā¦.but the best MT were druids they were better unless a shield mechanic existed.

Seems kinda dumb. Just my opinion. Maybe tell blizzard to address that boss fight issue, not class balance.
Sounds like blizzard has it close to being balanced. Donāt get hung up over one boss fight because itās quirks.

Figures all the paladins would swarm this thread and act as though Paladins arenāt two tiers above every other tank in the game atm.
Saying anything needs a nerf is stupid period.
If war cant keep up buff war dont nerf stuff for the sake of nerfing wow is already the hello kitty adventure of mmos. Why weaken any job when others could be buffed to address?

Iām fine with a nerf to paladins or a buff to warrior, druid and dk tank specs. Itās sad to see people searching solely āLF1M Prot Pal Ulduar (10 or 25)ā because the other tanks canāt keep up on pre-nerf Ulduar.

Tanked all of wrath with a warrior, except Algalon, health issues and missed the entire tier ;( Aside from him though, the only fight I ever took a backseat to another tank was in Sindy for her breath as we let a bear tank in PvP gear take two breaths in succession before the swap. I never even knew this was an issueā¦Algalon dies, I get a chance at lewt? Whatās the problem again? If the fight makes it easier for everyone, Iām not going to let my ego get in the way lolā¦

I said: A buff to warrior is not equivalent to the ret buff, given three tanks are behind a single tank spec.
The equivalent would be warlocks (or any dps) getting nerfed for being two tiers ahead of the next dps class.
Effectively- a buff to DK, Feral druid and prot warr is a nerf to prot paladins; as far as prot paladins are concerned which makes them more or less equivalent as measures Blizzard could take.
when you eventually pull algalon ur going to get a rude awakening, even with 10 man tuning he is going to instantly delete you as frost
Ok, Buddy.
Even if they would be able to balance all tank specs to be equivalent, some spec would be ātopā on the sheet. Even if that ātopā spec would be just 0.1% ahead of the āsecondā spec, the usual suspects would consider that spec as the only viable spec/class, as it is top and all others are behind.
Therefore, because of the people, trying to make all tank specs equivalent is a waste of time.

Humans want the best of the best, so will pick the best of the best. Top it off a ton of people rerolled to tank role between TBC and Wrath because it became easier. The majority of those are tank paladins. So then when you have more tank paladins than any other tanks who are currently number one, then why pick another type of tank? Course the biggest reason is skill but thatās only learnt after seeing how the tank player does it, and tanking has become easier than TBC in regards to hardest thing being threat no longer an issue.
All tanks are viable, thats not the same thing.
