There is no reason to support RDF

RDF, as in the full version of it, even if they wait until ICC release to bring it out, would very much please me.

Not enough to continue playing after Wrath, but I’d be pretty happy nonetheless.

Pot calling kettle…
Just because you choose to ignore the anti-rdf crowd statements, don’t mean your farts smell like roses. Of course there’s going to be vitriol on both sides…it’s a hot topic. But acting like one or two people on only one side is the only group doing a certain thing? Makes me think you like that “Fine people on both sides” guy.

My use of RDF doesn’t change the way you play at all.

You can form groups and watch the chat all day as you wish. As for me and my RDF crew we will do it our way as it was in Wrath at its peak sub count.

Rdf is fine for normal dungeons as it works right out of the box even with rewards. Problem is heroics … the rewards that were tied to heroics, the emblems, dont even exist yet in game til later on when it was implemented. Leave out heroics and were are golden til the time their rewards make sense which is near icc release as a catchup mechanic.

Hang on, you said earlier

So, how does RDF that can help with levelling a toon while out exploring the world while waiting in queue destroy the game, but a boost doesn’t?

90% of players I group with don’t say a word or just say ok and yea… Just let me rdf and get the awkward conversations over with faster. Either they don’t speak English or they are the typical awkward gamer

Go back to Era and give us RDF. :raised_hand_with_fingers_splayed::sparkling_heart:

I’ve been enjoying using the current tool that they’ve got in game.

It’s going to get smashed on WotLK launch

If it makes you feel better, I don’t like the queue from anywhere for BGs either. I like seeing the crowds around the battlemasters in a city, can always have some banter with other people waiting.

I would support this. I would even go a step further and say only the Classic and TBC dunegons at first. Then maybe once Ulduar comes out we get normal Wrath dungeons added then when ICC comes we get heroics. I mainly want RDF for the leveling of alts.

I don’t think this would actually prove anything since showing that i have a lvl 40 doesn’t show how i got to 40. (Also for real i tried, but the character pop up did nothing when i clicked other characters)

Sometimes i worry that is getting out of hand…Anyway Phobo doesn’t do that here.

You make a great point about why we should have rdf. Dungeons are easy to get to so what difference does it make if you port there. Right? Same thing you said.

And they keep tuning the lfd tool. Ok. So keep tuning it and eventually fix it all the way until it mimics rdf. I agree who needs rdf.

I’m anti-RDF, but they are not improving the LFG tool/tab. They have done a terrible job at that

You could just… take out the rewards?

If there was an NPC you could talk to in Dalaran once a day for a free level, a free piece of raid gear, or free gold, every single player in the game would use it.

This doesn’t make it a good thing.

Something being popular or used heavily does not make it a good thing.

Why would they do that, people wanted RFD as it was in that patch, it doesnt work, so it should be removed til the date they deem is appropriate for its inclusion.

RDF is just a tool to group with people while freeing you up to do other things in the game. It’s not a “free” anything.

Nobody is arguing so hard to keep RDF so they can keep the rewards you get from it.

They just want easier/guaranteed groups

For destroyed 5 mans they sure seem to be still rolling even into Shadowlands and beyond. Sorry… it doesnt add up.

Efficiency. The dungeons are about furthering the fight/gaining an advantage against w/e enemy group populates the dungeon, along with gearing up for the bigger fights/war, right? And part of getting your side ready for a war is making them more efficient. What’s more efficient than having the ability to quickly travel to any given area where you need to be be? Sure, QoL and convenience features are “lazy”(and let’s be honest here, people are lazy creatures lol), but if you lessen the burden of some things, it gives people more “energy” and desire to tackle the harder things. And these types of features didn’t make people less sociable, we were already that way before their implementation.
