People are literally in here screaming bloody murder and RDF = Y2K.
They dont realize how ridiculous they sound, and how any valid point they have is eclipsed by their hyperbole and mellowdramatic attitudes.

No tool solves this problem. They need to go cross server so there are enough people interested in running the content at the same time. I donât care if itâs RDF or not (although I would argue it should be in the old world) but it needs to be cross server.
The irony is that the people who really need RDF to do dungeons at all hours of the day were probably talking crap about megaservers a couple days ago.
The hens are already coming home to roost, it seemsâŚ
The lack of RDF is exactly what led to megaservers. No one wants to role play a town crier.

Im not saying that to you. Im just saying its ironic how inconsistent people on here areâŚ
Ie. Blizz gave you the option of joining a more populated server. Instead you joined one that wasnât and then complained that features and tools werent added to accommodate your choice. All the while, you were on the forums talking down to others and feeling all high and mighty.
Doesnt do anything but better the game, LFG channel is nothing but spam and picking out classes that are meta for your group, its bad for the game. Put rdf in

Iâve been on this server since before TBC. It was a fine server, but once people started raid logging and dropping out, groups were really hard to come by, so a bunch of people jumped ship. Had RDF been in, that wouldnât even have happened.

You dont have to justify yourself man. Im with you all the way. Maybe it all comes back to Blizzard being turds at managing server health.
Iâm just saying it cuts both ways and we as a community should be more empathetic even if our experiences and problems are different.

This single system destroyed normal dungeons. Which effects the whole game.

When you say BG queue is cancer are you talking about the extra fun gameplay of sitting in Org waiting on a BG opening?

Nobody is having trouble⌠itâs the process of building a group. And it is also the fact you neglect literally everything else in the game while going through the process.
RDF would help with the mega-servers by there being less of an incentive to play on one. On the social side of this coin, in mega-servers specifically there really isnât much of a server community due to the sheer amount of players, only within a guild would there be any sense of community on these servers, so it doesnât affect that either. The only reason not to add RDF from what I can see is to avoid classic/tbc players from lashing out on the forums.
I would argue on the immersion/world aspect itâs no different than summoning, not once have I had a dungeon run in classic yet where all players ran to the instance, so it is a non factor to me, usually the one at the stone summoning btw.
Very much agree with your post OP. Lots of people are agressive towards anyone who has a anti rdf perspective, but you are 100% allowed to have your perspective and your opinion. It doesnât make you selfish, it doesnât make you ignorant, it doesnât make you a troll, it makes you someone who have an opinion and is willing to share it and defend it.

A lot of the times the players that are anti-RDF are the players that are either new to the game or never used RDF during Wrath, so their opinion on âwhat is killing the gameâ is typically wrong. Cataclysm killed the game. It lost its world and thatâs not the fault of RDF. They changed everything and for the most part, made it worse.

Not really⌠not sure what information you use to make such assumption? Been playing retail for about 15 years, classic since day 1, classic is my main game since it came out.

I mean imma be honest. Sometimes its nice to have gameplay so brazenly hollow that I can get up off the computer, take a poo break, make a pot of coffee, walk the dog, and come back to see Iâm still waiting on the queue to pop.
