This is World of Warcraft. Not World of Boostcraft.
Also, you gonna answer to my reply on you explaining on “how people have there own playstyle is a lie”?

There are some specs that will never have an easy time finding groups for dungeons regardless of what changes are made to the LFG tool.
So you’re fine with skipping the level 1-70 journey, which involves a lot of traveling, but heaven forbid I get teleported 15 yards to Violet Hold using RDF.
No dude you can’t use the LFG tool because RDF will kill it…wtf how are you guy’s this dumb?
By implementing RDF you are DRASTICALLY increasing the time it takes to find a group with LFG.
I would use LFG if I could…but I won’t be able to because RDF will literally have fewer players on it. So I won’t be able to find a group with it dude!!! You act like I’ve never played the game before…like I never tried to use LFG in retail…it doesn’t work man.
Nope, you’re wrong again. People will use them all.
Because people will have the choice of using RDF or LFG tool and will obviously choose the better system… RDF. Like I said its better and you just admitted it.
I never wanted TBC to be released at all. I was always a classic + supporter.
And yea I’ve always supported boosts in every expansion. Because the way expansions are designed, all previous continents die, and everybody moves to the new one. It’s a TERRIBLE way to design expansions. But giving players a boost lets them actually experience all the new content.
Like this is what happenes when you pack 90% of new content into the end game…you’re screwing over people who aren’t at that level.
That’s you being stubborn. It’s not that you can’t, you can still walk to a dungeon, you just won’t.
You’re a clown.
This explains SO much.
Yep. Because classic + supporters have always been the silent majority. And history has proven us right.
Every change implemented in classic was for the better. All the problems that currently exist in classic or existed in classic stem from lack of changes. Blizzards unwillingness to address obvious problems with simple solutions.
It must be fun being that delusional. You and people like you won’t ever shut up.
People already do that. Join the LFG and wait for a summon without saying a word. Why waste people’s time when it could just be automated? Because some preconceived notion that people NEED to interact in EVERY SINGLE DG? That we HAVE to fly to EVERY SINGLE DG in the hopes someone says “who tank?”
Remember how people were so lazy in vanilla classic we had an Uber chat and would just silently pay some random group of warlock bots 5g to get across the continent? The community killed pug socializing in this game a long time ago. Go to your guild’s discord for that, let me have the convenience we had in og wrath.
Inconvenience doesn’t make me socialize.
Triggered, thanks.
Yep. I personally jsut don’t dungeon. But I socialize. LFG post made to use channel 4 happens lol.
I really don’t understand why Blizz didn’t think people would make dummy listings just to chat when they made this tool, like how does someone not bring that up in a meeting?
You sure typed a lot and still managed to avoid making any valid points. I’ll bet you failed the “argumentative essay” assignment in high school.
And flagged.
I agree that many people here dont understand game design, but rdf “ruining” the game is a perhaps a little hyperbolic.
I really enjoyed listening to Kevin Jordan (OG wow dev) talk about how carefully the world and its systems were designed to promote a social world. His stuff is on youtube and twitch. He also doesnt shy away from calling some decisions utter garbage to the games philosophy.
He even talks about how the devs had the same exact arguments internally that we are having. And how sometimes it just came down to what the lead dev’s preference was. Unsurprisingly, a lot of balance changes favored the classes that the lead dev of the time enjoyed playing.
But RFD is just a piece of the puzzle.
BG que from anywhere… teleport to location… automated groups PERFECT
Wintergrasp has a problem… lets make it a que! Teleport to location… automated groups PERFECT!
RDF… que from anywhere… teleport to location… automated groups DEATH OF A GAME!
Its odd that all these other things don’t kill the whole game or socialization hasn’t died yet but this one thing… in 5 mans… that no one will take seriously a month after the expansion is the DEATH NAIL to the game if it gets treated like pretty much the whole rest of the game.
Yeah… just doesn’t add up.
RDF is fine imo for normal dungeons 1-70. Heroics won’t work because the reward system tied to it is for tier 8 (with downgrade of emblem) tier 9 and tier 10. So heroics would be off the table realistically til the time it was release which was i believe between tier 9 and 10.
