There is no flying in 9.1

No flying is quite literally a carrot on a stick to prolong subscriptions.

There is no other reason why it would not just be allowed from the get-go. Make it harder to fly in some areas, idc. Have more things shoot us down. Design wind. I don’t care. Not having flying is moronic.

This game GAVE ME WINGS.

And every expansion they take it away. So lame.

Yeah they’re taking a bit more away every time. The point I want to make is this is the first delayed flying ex pak when we can’t fly in the new content released with flying.

In WoD flying released with the Taanan Jungle patch, and we could fly there in a week.
In Legion flying released with the Broken Shore patch, and we could fly there in a week.
In BfA flying released with the Naz/Mech patch, and we could fly in both in a week.

Not so this time.

Im genuinely confused how this is still surprising people.

Flying came in Burning Crusade so a very long time ago and despite that people are still surprised when the limitations that have existed fairly consistently since BC are still happening now. For almost all of the patch content you have not been able to fly in current content.

You could not (and still cant) fly in Isle of Quel Danas, Molten Front, Argus, Timeless Isle, and Isle of Thunder and it was months (oftentime with many a grind associated with) before you could fly in every opening zone of every expansion after Pandaria as well as Broken Shore, Nazjatar, and Tanaan.

8.3 was I believe only the second time ever we were able to fly in the current hub area, with the other being 3.2 when we were doing Crusader dailies, so I am confused why the policy that is more than a decade old continuing shocks some people.

You may find it a scam op I see it as a win for my alts. Can skip over all the nonsense with no worries of being dismounted because of the pointless slows. Yes I know about the saddle but shouldn’t even be needed

Oooo another one. Nice.

Maybe not you but I sure will be. Beside the easy couple of thousand gold for doing the callings, it will make herb gathering much easier. Plus any alts you might be leveling thru those zones will also benefit from it.

So saying it’s “the bigest scam” is a bit much…

cool it’s their video game they developed to pick and choose how much they budge on flight

i dont give a %@%! how many whiny forumgoers want it, that doesn’t mean they have to do it. I wouldn’t trust any of you with a wooden nickel much less shaping how this game his. 95% of the stuff modern gamers hate they asked for anyways. Gamer losers who have nothing going on in their personal lives and they’re self-conscious about it so they take up their internet mask of anonymity and act like miserable people online so everyone hates them IRL and online. sad existence but you get to see it every day here on the ol’ wow forums

Yeah but we’re going to pretend it is so we can RAGE!

Except it was traditional for the final patch to not allow flying.

Not a .1.

Your logic is wrong.

I thought that’s exactly what we were getting. Flying in the covenant zones not the new stuff. Not sure if they made that clear or not cause I have the attention span of a nat.

Nah. Add on zone = no flight.

You’re 100% wrong.

Tell me a WoW expansion where a addon zone had restricted flight before the .2 or .3 patch.

I dont have to. Add on zones usually do not have flight, at least for the last couple expacs.

Yeah. That is an unpleasant surprise.

I’d expected it to be like Naj.

You have to. Simply because you’re the one who posted:

You’re 100% wrong.

Why?

Because:

  • The add-on zone Broken shore had flying in 7.2 for example.

Doesn’t mean it’s not crap. Shouldn’t be put up with by the players.

He/she is talking about Argus in 7.3 which is not comparable to 9.1 or 8.2. They’re misguided.

The final patches of WoW have restricted flight and not the earlier ones.

Keep arguing, youre getting somewhere…
