Disagree. BFA was terrible and SL has continued the descent.

Ever heard of the term “self-fulfilling prophecy”? Might wanna look that up.
To each their own, but I find it hard to believe that you can say BfA was better than SL. For SL to “continue the descent”, this means that SL is worse than BfA, or inversely, BfA was better than SL.

Yeah, I really don’t understand after the heaps and loads of feedback we’ve given, that they can’t add a “I already saw this before, skip please” like they did with every other expansion.

Yet even before I talked about it, flying was taken away, now ground mounts were taken away for 8 months…what will it be next time? Make no mistake these devs will take and take and never give until “a time has passed” or there’s legitimate unsubbing.
Oh BFA was better but it’s like saying a cat’s poop is better than a dog’s poop.
Yes and both being worse than Legion. Now I didn’t care for the start of Legion. In fact I quit for a few months at the start because I disliked it. I saw a good core but the system was too restrictive. When I came back the system restriction wasn’t near as bad and got better with time. Now they just put a restrictive system on you and never let up. That’s why it’s getting worse each time.

But yet, here we are, where Flying is far easier to get in SL than it was in BfA. That doesn’t sound like they are “taking more than they did the last time”.
Really, now. I’d love to know how that is. How is BfA better than SL? Because for the life of me, I can’t really name one thing BfA did better.
I sadly can’t relate to the start of legion; I quit during that tire fire that was WoD .0 and didn’t come back until just before Argus was to be released.
I don’t recall seeing any “restrictive systems” in Legion, though. In fact, the only systems I remember seeing is the AF weapon, and it was a pretty simple concept, tho a bit grindy.
Another patch of sticking to old content for me.
If they’d going to timegate flight beyond the launch patch they need to use the WoD/BfA model where we can fly in every zone for the rest of the xpac while that content is relevant.
It’s very important to me to have flight in the newest, most relevant content for most, if not all, of the duration of the current xpac.
Haha yeah I was thinking about that earlier and it’s true. You get flying but… there really isn’t much you can use it for. Unless you have an addiction to do world quests for whatever reason and just random flying around. Flying in 9.1 is kind of pointless. You still have to go through Oribos manually. No flying in maw or korthia. So yeah… lovely. Thank you blizzard.
At least you can do some of the achievements now and possibly collecting if you’re into that. So it’s not all bad.

Korthia is roughly the size of mechagon so flying isn’t necessarily that much needed there… he’ll allowing us to mount in the maw is a game changer.

This hangup that Blizzard has with flight is just totally stupid. They made it to be a bigger deal than it actually is.
Give people flight so they’ll be more willing to engage your obnoxious quests and play the game more. Move on with your stupid stances already. Just add it. The game didn’t die with flight and it won’t revive with a lack of flight.
What’s funny is, this would’ve been received much better if they just… you know… added flight in at the very start of the expansion and treated this like another Timeless Isle.
Whatever. I’ll do the bare minimum and leave.

More loot. That’s about it. Like I said, it’s like saying one pile of poop is better than another pile of poop. You get that right? Neither option is good. One may just stink a little less than the other.
Oh the beginning of Legion was bad. You were basically spec locked with your artifact weapon. You almost couldn’t level another spec’s weapon to be viable in content for a bit. It was HORRIBLE. That however did change and they VASTLY loosened the restrictions in 7.2 and even more in 7.3.

Omg this is torture
I’ll take not grinding rep I don’t want for limited flying any day. I’ll grind renown there are a lot of cool rewards in there.
I think the biggest problem I had with pathfinder past was that I was not into over half the factions, hate grinding rep on a good day, plus I’m just not a loremaster guy.
Seems they have caved even in a limited way to those of us who loathed that system and were frankly fine on the ground when it came to pathfinder.
Not gonna lie it’s a bit satisfying apparently I was not the only one who felt that way.

I plan on leveling my army of alts and relish in the fact that I will be able to traverse the horrific terrain.
I farm herbs and ores, so I’ll be utilizing those four zones regularly.
You can’t fly in most .1, .2, .3 and .4 patch zones. Korthia is super, super tiny, you can close your eyes in 3 seconds and you’ll be at your objective.

Feels too much like an arcade game. I miss when we had to travel to dungeons before instant gratification became the norm.
Korthia is so tiny that it doesn’t even matter much, it’s even smaller than single Argus zone (and Argus had multiple)
There is no flying on Timeless Isle.
There is no flying on Thunder and Giant Isles.
There is no flying in Antorus.
There is no flying in Exodar or Silvermoon.
There is no flying in that patch zone island north of Silvermoon.
Do you sense a theme?
I am excited to get flying actually. It will make world boss runs not suck.
