Give me a break.
Mythic plus loot distribution:
1 piece per week, chosen from 3 options that may not be what you need.
Raider loot distribution:
1 piece per week, chosen from 3 options that may or may not be what you need. Or 6 options realistically, since a guild that can field 20 people can certainly manage to do some keys too.
Plus, drops from the raid bosses themselves. Which is a nontrivial amount of you are clearing even half of the raid per week.
It’s physically impossible for mplus only players to be gear capped right now, 1 item per week from vault makes that impossible. But very possible for raiders to be capped 639 right now, enjoying their raider only feat of strength that reduces gilded crest costs for their alts.
I like timers. It makes going up the levels a challenge. I dont like doing a dungeon and not getting any reward. So if we still got a decent reward for completing a dungeon maybe people would not drop out so fast. Say 1000 gold for every completion regardless of whether you time it or not. Then if the group is going to go over people might still be willing to stay and finish it if it takes another 5 minutes.
Currently, dungeons drop full loot and vault rewards on a failed completion, as well as 5 crests. That’s extraordinarily rewarding considering that raids drop nothing when you wipe on a boss.
You go by when you get the loot.
Raid: after a boss.
M+: when you finish the entire key.
Therefor: entire dungeon is 1 encounter.
Do you get tired of commenting in threads about nothing based on something?
Raids and M+ are not very comparable. Mythic only gives you 5 crests if you complete the entire dungeon. Raid gives you separate rewards for each boss you kill. It is way easier in most cases to kill one boss in a Heroic raid than it is to complete a level 8 or 9 dungeon, and you will get better rewards for killing the one boss then you will for completing and entire dungeon.
This is another common concern it seems.
i got KSM one time and one time only for the artifact appearance, but that mode is not really appealing to me anymore. it seems pretty toxic and i am glad to abstain. i really don’t know of a way they could lure me back tbh
One dungeon is one encounter. One raid boss is one encounter. That’s how they are approached. Also, dungeons drop more loot than raids per capita and, as I stated earlier, give full loot and vault on failure. You wipe to a raid boss, you get a repair bill.
You can’t see something is wrong.
You can only see others have complained.
A complaint existing does not mean something is broken. You are just automatically agreeing with a certain perspective.
I also don’t have to marry a Rhino to know something’s wrong.
Most of the concern about M+ and crests comes from 1 of 2 places:
Sure. But there is a difference between first hand experience and regurgitating someone else’s view you are biased in support of.
Someone else complaining is not evidence that m+ is majorly broken.
All of this speaks to the challenge but if you nerf the challenge you need to nerf the rewards. Can’t have free cake.
I bricked a +2. Guess that makes me qualified. Now, would you like to contribute to the topic, or simply continue to dismiss and discredt what 30 other people have also said? I mean, I don’t have to acknowledge you, but I would love talking about the topic, and not the person. Ad hominem and all…
Seems like the only real issue seems to be how many people keep making multiple alts and now want that free cake for their army.
Not to be a nitpicker, but a 13 is not technically a 23. It’s only technically equivalent to what previously was a 23 before you factor in Xalatath’s Guile (which adds another 10% damage and health onto it, effectively an additional key level) and both Fort and Tyr being simultaneously active (which is a good change at the higher end, though I’d rather they just removed both of those and actually tuned damage/health all around)
M+ doesn’t need “fixed” in the sense most people mean, which is massive reworks to the system. It just needs actual attention by the devs. Some tuning early in the season then being completely ignored for the rest is not enough, especially immediately after a massive overhaul to the system.
You not having experience nor evidence to back your claim isn’t an ad hominem.
