You could get Gilded equivalent from 6s in S4, down from 8 equivalent in S2/3.

And this has been a thing since the crest system was introduced in S2 of DF.
It’s not easier now, it’s not a change that made Hero track upgrade into a Myth ilvl tier, that’s always been a thing with this system.

Gilded from Delves is even more RNG, and if you’re not lucky it’s arguably just not gonna happen unless you run Delves like you’re dying and there’s a second chance in there.

It’s going to happen. They are just taking their sweet time for whatever reason. I’m not bringing any of my alts into this nonsense. I’m keeping them in Delvs. It’s just not worth MY time. I have a feeling most of us are. I hardly see any alts doing 9-10s compared to previous seasons. It’s going to be dead in a couple weeks when we have no reason to run M+ anymore. I’m not clever, this is common sense stuff from someone who has enjoyed the content forever.
Some dungeons I’m using Blast Wave and Dragons Breath on CD just so someone don’t die. Then the mobs just keep recasting the same spell. Something I thought we solved years ago by not allowing this type of mechanic (AKA locking them out of the spell for a couple seconds). I’m starting to think they want us to spend money to go dracthyr for the racials. Nothing else makes sense.

No, I’m saying it’s dumb to say it’s easier now because you can run a thousand delves for a handful of maps to get a pittance of crests compared to literally any other method of acquirement.
Effectively saying, “lol it’s easier now, just spend 400 hours in Delves 4head”.
I just do +11s for vault instead of 10s because the average player quality is higher. Experience is very different.
I think they should revert it back… M+ isn’t just a hard core players playground. Lots of beer bros like to run M+ and drink or smoke a little while they relaxed and their playground was M0-9
I think the should just take out the time reduction on death all together, you already get penalized for the run back compounding it is not fun. If you’re group is dying constantly anyways, they aren’t making the timer. The dungeons already scale aggressively, I just don’t see the necessity in time removal. If the time removal was taken away, you could at least talk out a strategy quickly instead of people just straight dropping the group.
Oh for sure. The moment that they abolished the old system and nerfed tanks and healers the devs seal this seasons fate.
They need to get their thoughts together next year for season 2 because this expansion can’t handle another fiasco season like this one.
